  1. I can dig some up, Looks like I was wrong, you have the suction and discharge lines. (Sorry about that. the a/c system in my truck is a mix of parts from 3 different years, and I've been staring at hoses myself for far too long) Looks like you need Chrysler 56004839, HOSE, Receiver to Condenser and Chrysler 56004378, HOSE, Receiver to Evaporator You may want to verify those numbers to be sure, but that's what they show in the Chrysler parts catalog for a 1992 Comanche.
  2. I use Rotella with good results, It has a very high ZDDP content. This thread has TONS of info. https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/rotella-worlds-first-ever-combined-hair-oil-foot-ointment-salad-dressing-188168/ An Excerpt:
  3. Depending on the type of expansion valve you have, most parts are the same, save the compressor. 1990 and earlier use an sd508 style, with the mounting bolts running front to rear instead of vertically.
  4. It looks like you have the discharge line, (Compressor to condenser) and the liquid line (Receiver to Expansion valve). There are 4 hoses in total, you also need the line from the condenser to the receiver, and the suction line. (expansion valve to compressor.)
  5. I have one of these, but Haven't gotten around to installing it yet. It's a nice box, but it can get expensive when you buy the terminals, seals and plugs. https://www.waytekwire.com/item/46345/EATON-s-Bussmann-Series-15303-5-2-4-RTMR-Mini-Fuse/
  6. When you mill the head, things like pushrod length, bracket location, and lots of stupid other little details change. There really is no easy "Bolt in and go" way to raise compression. Pistons are by far the least involved.
  7. A good condition braided engine ground does wonders to help as well.
  8. I know on my 88 dana 35, there are no c-clips. the axles are held in by bearing retainers behind the brakes. mine DOES have a small roll pin where the cross shaft retaining bolt is. on those axles, you unbolt the retainers, and use a slide hammer to pull the axles free. I'm not sure what year the changeover happened, but I know my brakes and axle shafts are different from the 90 model I bought parts for.
  9. They're tan, and they are pretty comfortable Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  10. I have two 1997 ZJ limited leather seats, that I'd like to trade for some early XJ or MJ buckets. I'm in Crowley, TX. I'd gladly throw in a bit of cash if you could deliver, or even more if the seats are burgundy/maroon. I pulled these seats from the local Pick-N-Pull a while back, planning to put them in my Comanche. I'm having to finish the truck in a rush, so I'd rather just get the earlier bucket seats. These were power seats, but I attached them to 97 XJ mounts. Over all they are in decent shape, The driver side seat has a a few tears on the lower cushion, the passenger side is near perfect. both seats are a bit dirty, but they should clean up easy.
  11. OH wow... Somebody give me $1000 and a plane ticket.
  12. Had a successful day yesterday. Got the rear axle painted, and made a pretty good score at the Pick-N-Pull.
  13. Just found this one on the bay of E :http://www.ebay.com/itm/87-95-JEEP-WRANGLER-CHEROKEE-YJ-XJ-CASSETTE-RADIO-STEREO-OEM-FACTORY-TAPE-/282452170842?hash=item41c376185a:g:atUAAOSwXYtY3l~F&vxp=mtr Looks like part number 56003020. Would this one be any good?
  14. Thanks, everyone! I'll admit, I've hit that stage in the build where it feels like I have no motivation. Just gotta push through!
  15. Sorry for the lack of updates, Four months sure go by fast! On to the pictures! I started cleaning, priming, coating and painting section by section, working my way back from the front. Along the way I secured me a complete 4.0, ax15, and front axle. Also been busy getting suspension sorted out. After more cleaning and painting, I finally got the engine, most of the front suspension, and axle installed. Sorry for the pic dump, best way I could think of to get caught up. That's where I'm at currently. Unfortunately, I may have to rush this build to the finish. It looks like I may be getting a new job, and I'll have to make a move down to San Antonio. At any rate, I'll keep up with the pics this time.
  16. Yeah, I figured as much. Unfortunately I didn't get that harness with the drivetrain. I'll have to source one somewhere.

  19. I searched for this, I promise. I'm in the middle of my 4.0 swap, (My truck is a 1988, the engine and harness is a 1990) My question is, is the harness from the c100 across the front compatible from the 2.5 to the 4.0? I've read different things, and I can't really tell if it will work or not. (But I may be somewhat frustrated and not seeing things properly)
  20. Can you link to the facebook group? I can't seem to find it..
