Wow Eagle , I couldn't have put it any better . Also you have to look at how the Media is controlled over there . Its almost just as bad , if not worse than a Weapon of Mass Destruction itself.

I don't know If this is an option for you but I got tired of looking so , I used a set of after market seats , I found a used set of Best Top TJ seats for about 90 bucks . Way better condition than most of the older trucks that had to choose from at the time . Anyway , the newer seats had adjustable mounts on the bottom , that I could move around to fit the seat brackets . It does take modification of some sort on the newer model MJ's . The seats I got where out of a 01" Tj . I am also not worried too much about cost for comfort , I am also having mine reupholstered , with new fabric and padding . Don't know if that will help you out . :chillin:

Is it a carpeted version or was that custom ? I don't know anything about them . How much ? Is it in good condition ?

Welcome !! Nice truck !! I like the black interior . Looks good !

I have noticed some of you guys have the rear interior panel under back glass . My truck came with the bench seat that I swapped to buckets and does not have that panel . What is that panel called ? Where can I find one ? Does anyone have one , pref. gray or black ? Or should I just make one ? Thanx

Painting Roll-Bar - Bed-liner?

Thats what I used on the the floor pans on my truck . It does scratch , but held up pretty well over all . I used there bumper and trim coating on the plastic trim on and around the bumper . Two months and still looking good , even after three car washes . I'll probably have to re spray in the spring though . I agree with the prep , I didn't do that much either . Lazy :chillin: -

Now thats a restore project !!! Very nice . Thats my dream to do that one day to mine . That silver color is titty's . :brows: -
Sorry guys I never implied for you to move here , I wouldn't wish that on anyone . I just said move to a place that the police are better funded to stay " up to speed " on todays fast moving criminals . Besides I like being one of the few MJs around , in a sea of monster F-350 's , I kind of stick out . The gang - land is coming soon to a street corner near you . No matter where you live there are problems everywhere . Dog the bounty hunter did get shot here though . I told you guys we don't play around here . Its still kinda the wild west . allot of that heart of the criminal stayed here . Never quite made it to Mexico , guess they got winded and lazy .
-
I,d go with the patrol car in the driveway , there's a great idea !! I had lived next to a county patrol officers house for about three years . Never had a problem . He did get allot of vandalism though , it did keep it down for most of us in the area .
-
Then you need to move !!! The rest of the world has come a long way . If there not finding the vehicle , the cops are not doing there job . I would be livid !!! Even ON-STAR can locate the vehicle within minutes . They can even shut the car down in drive . They even tell me the tire pressure and fuel capacity . I would be pissed off at the fact that the cops don't want to catch someone red -handed . Thats one of the only ways you can peg one of them SOB's with a crime . Most of the time they walk free !! So I'd rather do something about it than nothing . The most we can do is set up deterrents , to make it harder for them to steal . Low -Jack in my case has worked flawlessly . Because no matter what you do , the criminal will find a way to take it . Next door neighbor tried the big dog , dog is now dead !!! :dunno:
-
Anybody that thinks they can stop someone from taking there stuff , needs a lesson in crime !! No matter what you do , the criminal WILL find a way to take it . If you don't know how Low- jack works , don't knock it . Most recovery for low - jack is within one hour . I'll take my chances there , thanks . A friend of mine had a GSX - R 1000 , that was stolen from his locked garage . He called me within an hour and asked me if I would go with him and the police , to pick up his bike . The cops showed up at this guys house , asked if he had the bike , he replied no" . However with the signal coming out of his garage , they got a emergency search warrant . Caught the guy red handed , the guy still denounced the bike being in his garage . I lost a CBR that way , didn't have low - jack , found it a week and a half later stripped and ditched in a field . If I would've had low - jack , the criminal first of all would have been caught , second he would not have that much time to F up my bike , third , I wouldn't be spending all this money to fix it . I'm all about being prepared now a days , instead of giving thieves a chance to take my $#!&!! They have low jack for just about everything anymore . Cars, computers , stereos , home entertainment, almost anything . So before you critique my posts like a third grade english teacher ,do your reshearch .

Low = Jack !!!! Buy it, install it , live happy , period ........ Dave M.

Are you putting a bushing kit in as well !! Already bought mine, holding off until I get the rest of the stuff I need . I would rather do it all at once .

Thanks !! I,m holding on to this one for sure !! I think the last MJs , were built in 4-92 , or thats what I was told . being that there were only about 1,000 , or less made that year . Also considering that allot of them were either wrecked or totaled . Rusted and scrapped or modified beyond mostly stock . There just isn't that many left , if even in good shape . There are allot of cool trucks out there , but the MJ , seemed to be a truck that had a little of everything that I wanted . You should see all the big @ss lifted trucks , that get madd when I pull up next to them . Even with my truck being the smallest in the lot . They give me all kinds of $#!& !! Must be little dick syndrome. :dunno: Dave M. -
man can my luck get any worse????

I think black is cool as well ! I would like to stay with the stock bolt pattern on the frame . I'm going to take it back to the shop and have him remake new brackets , I would do it myself , but I don't have time . Lots of other projects that should be done first . :D -

I thought that it was up side down as well , but the end of the bumper tappers to the top, could be the mounts are upside down . :dunno: -

Well Its been straight @$$ here , for a couple of weeks . I have not been able to work on my truck allot . I got a new bumper from a shop here in town . I was so excited , I installed it in the snow . Here are some pics . For anyone who cares . I also got a pic of this : This is the new bumper , but I need to make new bumper brackets , because its about an inch low and an inch too far out in my opinion . Still have yet to weld the D rings and it needs a paint job ! -
:agree: , also you have to look at the situation , Even with right , the police are going to investigate every situation like a crime scene , To there defense , the cops have two people , one dead and the other with a gun . Even if its your house and you were protecting your family . The investigating officer has to look at all the details. You could've had a friend over and got in a massive fight , someone ends up dead . The scenario's are endless . Thats partly what the handgun safety courses are all about , giving you a chance to look at your local laws , different scenario's and what to do , not to do . Owning and having a handgun permit is a big responsibility !! Thats also why they changed the name to a concealed handgun permit and not a concealed weapons permit. allot of people thought that meant any weapon . In fact the only weapon you are allowed to carry by right and conceal , is a firearm . Not a baseball bat or a switchblade or any other weapon . If you use any of those or are caught with them will be or can be charged with all kinds of crimes . Dependent on situation .

I used the Glock .357 semi auto , Interchangeable barrel , from 9 mm. - .40 cal . Holds 13 rounds . I've never had a glock jam on me , that was properly cleaned and had never used reload rounds . Good for shotguns not standard amo. weapons . Most manufactures will void warranty if they see improper powder used in the firearm . Thats why blank rounds always misfire and take a crapload of cleaning after.
-
:agree: Perfect choice for a weapon .357 m. Very well put Eagle , allot of people put too much trust in the police , I accidently hit the panic button on my alarm at work , ADT was on it , with in 30 .sec . they were on the phone . Took the cops 45 min and there right across the street . When he showed ,I explained my urgency . Told him we were all dead by now , don't even bother I'll take care of it next time on my own . BE PREPARED !!! Thats the best advice I can give , If you have a weapon , use and train with it allot .
