    It's NOT flexplate. Did you tell us which oil and filter you're using?

    Have you tried the cold start with the noise, shut it off and restart in 10 seconds?

    Are your engine to trans bolts loose? At idle, grab and wiggle electrical harnesses. You might find the issue. Look up near the clutch pedal also.

    If the throttle butterfly is too open or too closed, the IAC has trouble controlling the idle.

    Bosch 746s are still the way to go on a Renix 4.0. 710s don't work well.
