  1. Inline 6 terminal plug.
  2. It's in the liftgate.
  3. With a bad cap, ain't nothing gonna fix it!! 10244 is the part number of the cap you need. Fill the bottle to the FULL mark, install the Volvo cap, and go drive it.
  4. All replacement caps are crap. Search for the Volvo one. I don't have the part number anymore
  5. Some sensors use a 5 volt reference voltage. I gotta go to work soon. Check that flat 6 wire connector at the passenger side inner fender.
  6. So, you're not getting battery power or switched power to the ECU, correct? None at the pins I gave you to check or anywhere else on the ECU?
  7. The bulkhead connector is the C100. Power to all the fuses?
  8. Cherokees had a check valve for the rear washer. You could try one of those.
  9. I bet you're losing everything at the C100 connector below the brake booster.
  10. Where exactly did you check the fusible links for power?
  11. see if any of the fusible links are melted.
  12. Diesel oils are fine. All we used at the Dealership was 15-40 diesel oils. Safely cleans out sludgy engines also. MMO added works real wonders.
  13. Wiring diagram doesn't say. It's marked on the ECU connector.
  14. Pin B8 should have power at the ECU with key on. Pin B7 should have battery power even with the key off.
  15. I would turn the key ON and check the one from the ignition switch. That's the yellow wire in the 3 pin connector.
  16. 14 gauge yellow wire from the ignition switch is where it gets its power. It is triggered by a yellow wire from the eCU.
  17. I always hate to go there, but if a guy had a spare one he might try it.
  18. Nope. That doo-hickey inside the dizzy is for the injectors to fire sequentially. Has NOTHING to do with spark. anyone with a 4.0 Renix, feel free to try it.
  19. distributor. Dizzy is Australian slang for distributor.
  20. Ultra Gray works well.
  21. The dizzy harness? that won't keep it from starting.
  22. First chance you get, go to www.cruiser54.com and complete Tips 1 through 5. Tips 1 and 2 covers a couple potential ground/lighting issues.
  23. I have removed the cover on the wiper motor and removed the dried up waxy grease and then put Moly grease in. There's also a way to put the later XJ wiper motors in by changing the plug. I've not done that.
