  1. Seatbelts!!!
  2. Couldn't have done it better myself!! It's all good. I stole your photos.............
  3. Volvo injectors, CPS mod, complete Tips 1 through 5 as applicable.
  4. Programbo on Cherokee forum............Knows his stuff.
  5. I scrap/part out XJs all the time. The early ones may have the desirable 3.73 and 4.10 axle ratios. Doors, stationary glass, track bars and brackets, fuse boxes, pedal assemblies, taillamps, grilles, header panels, HVAC controls, steering columns, passenger side seat bottoms, wiper assemblies, vacuum canisters, gauge clusters, etc.
  6. Well, there ya go. Testimonials from actual users. Thanks everyone!!
  7. Man, how humid is it where you live?
  8. I also did the same thing. Bought new plastic vaccum line from a auto parts strore and used RTV to seal it better. It is a bit tricky to get the old plastic out of that rubber but it is managable. You make it sound SO EASY. Is that because it really is? LOL.
  9. They didn't on my 88. The 97 door seals anyway. Did you try rolling up your windows? Aw, $#!&. I knew I forgot something............ What's the part number for the later A pillar strips? Available?
  10. They didn't on my 88. The 97 door seals anyway.
  11. Argggg. I just got back from my buddy's house where I took the photo of the same piece. Gotta be wind noise. Noted that the vertical A pillar seal on his 95 is made of a more rigid material and held on by only 3 rivets versus the 5 holding mine on. I believe some adhesive was also used. There are no gaps between the rivets like on mine.
  12. See Post 13.......The brown wire........
  13. Use carb cleaner sprayed at suspected areas for vacuum leaks. When the engine sucks that stuff in momentarily, you'll know there's a leak in that spot. I'm very suspicious of your fuel pump being worn out. A fuel pressure test should be done.
  14. My money is on the brown wire at the ignition switch being burned.
  15. I'll snap a photo of my buddy's 95 XJ soon and post it up.
  16. Get the numbers off the injectors. See how fuel pressure is after their installation.
  17. Yep. Spicy vegan diet. The propellant and added toxic gasses erode the aluminum bucket.
  18. Which ones and from who? Programbo?
  19. Crap. I drove my buddy's 95 XJ today and was gonna have a peek. 66,500 miles. Old lady driven. Garage kept. Cherokee sport.
  20. Doesn't work. Get a pan off the passenger seat of an 84 to 90 or so XJ in the junkyard.
  21. 39 at idle with the vacuum hose to fuel pressure regulator disconnected, and it should drop to 31 when reconnected. A leaking injector or 2 or 3 could also cause the bleed down when the engine is turned off.
