Standard tank was 16 gal. Optional tank was 23.5 gal.

Have you tried bleeding and adjusting them? Also pull the wheels and inspect the linings.

Maybe he uses it to herd cattle with. That is a cow catcher on the front isn't it?

Gas gauges are not laboratory precision instruments. They just display a general reading.

Having owned at least one of every model truck Jeep ever made, i kind of like the J10-20 series best. The FC 150-170 were quite practical but under powered. Except for the one I dropped a Buick 401 in. My 2 cents.

A trip to the local police station or county court house would be the place to answer that question. Every state is different and has their own rules. In Colo the only way to get a title in a deal like that is to contact the owner and see if you can get a title from him. Even without a title it would still be a good buy for parts.

In 1957 I was going from Pueblo to Dow AFB, Bangor, Me, Had a 1954 Willys Aero Lark pulling a 4X6 trailer. Wife was driving and I was asleep in the pass seat. Was going up a really steep hill in West Va.At 2 AM I got rudely woke up by a air horn and a set of very bright set of lights hitting me in the face from a 18 wheeler also going up the hill but was stopped due to the road being blocked by my car and trailer jack knifed in the middle of the highway. Wife didn't downshift soon enough and stalled, jack knifing us. The rear of the trailer was hanging over the Ohio river and the front bumper was hanging over the ditch. We changed places and I managed to get straightened out enough to let the semi by. Went back down to the bottom of the hill and started over. For the sake of my marriage, I never said anything to her about it.

These have 6 10mm bolts and no washers. I have it out, Just got to get to town now for shipping. Reread the question. The 6 bolts mounts it to the door frame. There is a large head Torx bolt going thtu a large plastic washer and into a plastic nut attaching the reg to the glass. I'm sending everything. Except the door.

I figured if anybody would know it would be Don. Started to just PM ya but then figured some other folks might be curious about it. I just knew it was Jeep and with Jeep who knows. I was looking at the doors on the '95 I'm rippin apart and it occurred to me that the back doors got much less wear than the front and the regs would be like new. :hmm:
-
On the 80's and early 90's will the regulators swap between the front and rear doors? I've got a front door stripped but just don't feel like doing the back one just to find out.

Original/aftermarket Mud Flaps
jimoshel replied to mzairboy's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Got any clues as to which dealership it was? :dunno: :laughin: -
Same place. And as for memory, the only reason I haven't misplaced my butt is because it's permanently attached.

Just got thru switching a 95XJ door lock into a '87MJ. Loose fit but workable. The '87 lock will not fit the XJ. Locating tab to wide. A nibbling tool or file would take care of that but I really don't know why any one would want to. Have'nt tried the ign sw lock yet. Can't get the #$%@*^&%#$@*%$# steering wheel off. The two pulling holes in the hub are to narrow for my regular puller to work.
