It's very easy to flood a motor by pouring gas in the intake. Especialy with low spark, low compression, motor not spinning fast enough etc. I use a spray bottle and just a gentle squeeze at first just a mist and see what happens.

Sounds like to me your injectors aren't working. It's not likely all 6 wouild Kaput at the same time so seems like your just not getting a signal to them.I would check all connections, plugs, wires, grounds associated with the ECU, Computer, injectors. Altho what I don't understand is why you can spray gas in directly and it doesn't fire.

If I had a 'Back East' body, IE, rusty, I wouldn't hesitate in the least to cut, whack, chop, bang, slam,etc, to it. I ain't choppin a rust free one. A mild lift, 3-4 inches I wouldn't mind. What brought this question on is I got a '88 XJ with brand new tires on it and I wanted to get some use out of them.I could have, and I'm going to now, is just go try it. Last night I just figured it was easier to type than to jack. The XJ has a mild lift and 8" rims.

I need the left hand side glass. Consider whole window if price is right.

What does this gain? Or, how does it work? The idea is to decrease the rear U joint angle but it seems to me it would also increase the front Joint angle. Does the rear axle remain the same or is it shimmed up a couple degrees? Or wouldn't shimming the nose of the RA up a few degrees accomplish the same thing?

Can I use 31X10.50R15's on stock 6"rims without a lift? Just rough road use. No off roading.

Each time they only show the winner. Got my new toy home this afternoon. Kickin my butt for not getting it while it was still complete. Oh well. Put 4 wheels on it so I could load it on the trailer. After unloading first thing I did was try to start it. Spent 30 minutes checking relays, voltages etc trying to figure out why it wasn't getting gas. Finally put 2 Gallons in the tank and it fired right up. Sometimes I just don't figure me out. Runs great, everything works. Now to strip a XJ out and get everything missing. Still need a rear bumper but just gonna make one.

Were those sheepherder (HighLift) jacks yours or the yards? Here they won't even let one thru the door. To dangerous. They raise the vehicle with a forklift and then stack rims underneath it. In my opinion they can be dangerous but properly used and a bit of common sense they get the job done.

:agree: Also I would unhook the cable from the carb, TBI, and see if it's the cable or the carb sticking, Isolate the components.

Not all pins will always go bad in a bad plug. You can have one or two good ones and the rest bad.

Quite frankly I never noticed or cared how big, or little, anybody's sig was. If I didn't like it I would just get 5 or 6 of my buddies and go to their house and beat 'em up. As long as they didn't live over a block away. Lives out in the boonies. Nearest neighbor is over a mile away. :D
