  1. It'll work. Just make sure you're tying into the hot wire and not the ground.
  2. 306 lbs, including TG and lights.
  3. Conversation over heard on the Philistine Israel border. "Giant, you are trespassing into Hebrew territory. Leave now." Giant, "I'm on Egyptian soil." "Wrong. Your on Israel soil. Please leave or we're going to send David out." Giant, "Send him out. I'll wait."
  4. Viet Nam. 1965 A Marine Lance Corporal staggers into the company bunker all beat up, bloody, cammies in rags, left arm hanging at a weird angle, M16 bent at the barrel and collapses. First shirt picks him up and asks "Good Lord man. What happened?" Cpl replies "I was pulling guard at the intersection when I noticed a VC on the other side of the road. We both hit the dirt and aimed our weapons at each other. He hollered "President Johnson is oxen dung." I hollered "Ho Chi Minh is a chickens @$$." First shirt is mesmerized. "So then what happen? You two fight?" "Naw, We were standing in the middle of the road shaking hands and a tank ran over us."
  5. When Moses arrived home he immediately dispatched a blind, one legged messenger to notify the Pharaoh that his army couldn't swim.
  6. There are no new jokes. Just rewording of the old ones. :wavey:
  7. A Marine gunny was taking a leak when a young Airman came in and used the urinal next to him. Finishing up the Marine zipped his fly, flushed the urinal and proceeded to leave. The airman hollered after him, "Hey sgt. In the Air Force they teach us to wash our hands after using the John" The Gunny replied, "In the Corps they teach us not to pee on our hands." :USAflag:
  8. 114K is just broke in good. On your next oil change might switch to 10-30W and see what it does. 40 won't hurt anything but it is a bit thick. Also maybe change to synthetic. Synthetic won't change the OP drop but it does help the engine, in my opinion. After trying synthetic in my '88 MJ I've been switching all my vehicles over.
  9. Loved it. Semper fi
  10. Now, just why does that sound familier? :rotf:
  11. Sounds OK to me. All symptoms you describe are normal for a high mileage engine. On a newer. lower mileage engine there won't be as much of a pressure drop. 30psi is adequate for an engine not being abused.
  12. A pin can be appropriate attire when ever your wearing something to pin it on. Or be Mr Macho and go bare chested with the pin stick in your chest.

  15. It should be a reasonably pain free swap.Having the donor sitting along side will help. It will all be R&R, no welding, cutting required.
  16. Any body coming to Pueblo for the Rocky Mountain Street Rod Nationals this month? Hot rods, Street rods, customs up the ying yang. Just a whole bunch of nice cars.
  17. I am having trouble identifying several Dana axles I have. Having completely cleaned them up, removed all grease dirt an crud down to the bare metal, I cannot find one identifying number on them, Not on the flange, the nose, nowhere. Am I the only person this happens to? My question is can I compare the covers and identify anything? With 8.5, 9.75 and 10.54 ring gears are the covers the same size or do they get bigger with the larger ring gears? I can remove the covers and measure the ring gears but hoping for an easy answer here. :help:
  18. Did you check your fluid level? Look for leaks, especially from the clutch master cylinder, running down the inside of the firewall and onto the fuse panel. There is no adjustment on hydraulic clutch. Also they might need bleeding.
  19. Any chance of running the plates thru DMV and seeing if anything turns up?
  20. :agree: , Not knocking it. It is nice. It's kind of obvious it was built strictly for the show circuit and not everyday use.
  21. I'm not sure but won't the D30 and D35 gears swap?
