  1. it is. he is a member here but i have no clue what his username is.
  2. yup, i'd use at least 1/4 wall 2" DOM. thats what i used.
  3. little better pic 56 modified body, on 76 modified J-10 frame. .030 over 401, turbo 400, shortened detroit locked 60s front and rear. favorite thing about it is the Subaru Brat seats in the bed.
  4. name a date on the next one.
  5. yeah that semi wasnt exactly "stuck". my quad could have gotten him "unstuck". go launch your truck in a ditch and then see if a STI can pull you out. :D
  6. haha, i agree. Pat and Aaron do fight like a married couple.
  7. 'Tis a question for the ages. Both have their advantages/disadvantages. I imagine it really boils down to the specific race you're running. If it's all high speed and hard-pack, then 2wd should be better. If there are soft or slow spots, than 4wd might come in handy. i agree. if it were me though, i'd build a 4x4.
  8. i thought the Tilted Kilt wasnt open yet in Rockford? or did you hit up the Mad Town one.
  9. nice scenery! nice 92 too. i wish mine was that nice.
  10. yup, they all have coils. most classes require stock suspension configuration (4-link, leaf springs)
  11. its not the steering stabilizer. have somebody turn the steering wheel back and forth while you look for anything loose in the front end. also, start grabbing stuff and shaking it. from my DW experience, it was a combo of bad control arm bushings and bad ball joints.
  12. poop, i just noticed that too. guess i won't be watching it.
  13. thanks for the heads up
  14. can someone that either owns a Metric Ton model, or that has MT springs give me a ground to bottom of rear flare measurement? everything must be stock height, tire, flare wise.
  15. yup, mine are the same condition. I'm looking for some nicer ones to save the work involved.
  16. if you guys happen to find some good 10 hole eliminator style rims, can someone pick them up for me? i can send money right away.
  17. good mod. easy install too. i had my lock-right (same thing) installed in about 90 minutes.
  18. for your suspension links, i would run a flex joint over a rod end. BTF's are pretty sweet, i also like my johnny joints.
  19. there are actually quite a few around here. i know some of the owners, but there are still a lot. oh and i see 2 everyday. and there is a bed with rollbar laying around too.
  20. :agree:
  21. while i agree, my 6.5 coils from him are still holding strong 3.5 years later. i have no other coil to compare to, but the Rustys coils seem to be on the stiff side.
  22. moab it is!
