  2. made my caps for the top my dad will be making my d-ring mounts one of these days too. hopefully i can get this bumper close to done this weekend.

  6. and here they are :D i wanted the side tubes as far out as the flares so when i hit some trees, the flares don't rip off.
  7. i read a few places that the Eliminator was built to attract the younger crowd. basically you get the full gauge package, buckets, color matched flares and grille, 10 hole rims.... i don't know what they came with from the factory, but both of my eliminators have cruise, air, tilt, rear slider.

  9. i appreciate you pointing out the one flaw that has been bugging me ever since i cut them, jerk. :P so get out the thin wheel and trim them properly! yup that is the plan.

  14. got the sides tacked on. they will be getting a brace from them to the bumper mounts just in case i land on something. i don't want them to smash into the fenders.

  18. so far, besides the winch plate i bought from harbor freight ($40) and the two d-rings ($10 each) i have been using all scrap metal from either what we have here at home or what my dad has at his shop. all said and done, i don't anticipate having more than $80 into it.

  20. x2. that is exactly what i did with mine. 2dr XJs are good clean metal donors. it doesnt line up perfect, but the flare covers those spots.
