  1. Thanks for the info on the CV shafts gog, I remember when I had a ZJ equipped with these, I gave that thing hell for years and never had to repair or replace them. Like I mentioned earlier, I've already ordered some moly shafts, not sure if they're the big joint ones or not but supposedly are guaranteed for life, so some peace of mind there I reckon...
  2. Aight, I'm gonna grab some moog ball joints and see how it goes. As far as the CAD delete I was inquiring about, pulled the trigger on the Yukon Gear kit with the moly shafts...doing it right the first time I reckon.
  3. LCAs and UCAs installed are adjustable, but they can only do caster adjustments. I'm just trying to get ahead of the game in case camber needs tweaking...
  4. Also, should I get adjustable ball joints or just go with OEM style?
  5. Right on comrades, gonna grab some from rockauto, is the CV style ones not recommended or do they not fit?
  6. I received the Spartans recently and will proceed to install these sometime soon. I also would like to replace the upper and lower ball joints for the knuckles, and I'm considering removal of the CAD system for a one piece axle shaft but I'd like to keep expenses low, what's y'all's advice on this?
  7. After a long work trip I finally got to take the 'manche for a spin to test things out and not one minute on the street, someone cut me off and I had to slam on the brake pedal. To my surprise, I was able to lock all four wheels with ease! I guess the brakes are great the way they are so they shall remain as set up. I was also able to get the rear sway bar installed, I used some brackets I saved that came off my K5 side step rails. I ran a couple hot beads and called it a day... Also, redneck rear brake line relief...
  8. Took the truck for a drive to break things in and to check on road behavior, all is well, even the shackle angle improved!
  9. I'm finally home from a work trip and got the lift completed to include all new ZJ steering components...
  10. Search for "rubber decal remover wheel" on amazon, I used one of them for my Burb debadge, made it super easy...
  11. Oil is oil my dudes! I kid I kid, carry on...
  12. My dudes, thanks for your feedback, this is exactly what I was after. I will do the Spartans front and rear, mostly for fun and because they're cheap, I'll just have to contain myself from wanting to rebuild the axle assemblies completely once I tear into them... On a different note, I'm also starting to mod my K5 with one-tons and those babies are getting E-locked Eatons...this is my overland project so it will take a while, also I'm poor and time is scarce ;) Carry on my dudes and dudettes!
  13. Did you wheel it hard off road?
  14. Did y'all run your stock cross shaft/pin? Is it even a concern?
  15. I think I can live with that, I don't DD the MJ...
  16. I have the Spartans in the cart, I think ima give them a try...
  17. Front and rear is the plan, and the CAD system still works, maybe it will ease the noise?
  18. Haha! I'm so glad to read that I'm not the only one! Gotta roll on doughnuts if you know what I mean
  19. Now that my MJ is lifted and will explore some of the woodlands around, I am considering lunch box lockers and would like feedback from those who run them. My goal is to keep the MJ as a weekend warrior so no need for the high end lockers yet, those I will go for after future mods like LSx and one-tons swap, holler...
  20. In its current state with 31s pedal feel and stopping power is great so I will break the suspension in and give it some use for a while. I will eventually install a set of 33s or 35s and I'm sure I will need to tweak the braking system then. I am a fan of hydroboost so I will pursue that option (like a setup off an Astro van maybe), we shall see my dudes...
  21. Currently running a 1" bore Ford F series MC, the corvette MC is 1.125" bore.
  22. Never mind the P/N request, I found what I need and will order/pick up the prop valve this weekend. I reckon I'll be installing this valve soon and deleting the rear load sensing valve too. I will run the MC currently in the truck and see how the braking system behaves but I believe I should install the corvette disc/disc MC I have, what do y'all think?
  23. Anyone have a part number for the adjustable prop valve for rear disc brakes? I just saw a Summit store near the hotel I'm currently at...
  24. Thanks for the insight my dudes...
