Did you just call the bumper a gusset? And you will also note that those side plates are near identical to the factory if not improved for there "passthrough" functionality and neither of which use c channels or gussets. Also As far as I know, nobody admitted/denied or recommended not bolting to the bumper. and in technicality a Mj in any form shouldn't be towing 5k+ anyways. While everyone's entitled to an opinion, I believe your argument is foolish.

I don't get why you would need gussets? Because of those brackets.... and if welded properly you shouldn't get any deflection in that metal. I've made plenty of bumpers and fix-its that required hot thick welds and never had a deflection problem.

The natural progession- Flares

The TJ ones look pretty good actually. I always hated when they did TJ fronts on MJs. But the rears at all corners looks good -
Using holes in the frame rails? yep all currently drilled holes. I prefer to go front to back a couple of times. and flush back and fourth a little

Loved my old '98 P71. Was my side car in highschool. Used to show off all the time in that thing. Loved the sound of the H-pipe and Loved that that wide track ford 8.8 posi 4.10 rear. Would smoke the tires leaving the parking lot every day. Would blow the doors off every other kids car too. Nobody ever beat me in a race.

Doesn't overshoot ever time. Just at oddly timed on/offs. -

I swear at one point in time I cleaned them.... maybe I'm thinking of some other plug. But I'll double check. And I'll pull that module. I've herd pulling it fixes wiper overshoot too which I have bad! Thanks all! I'll report back with results later today -

where would the wiper delay module be? I'm assuming under the dah, but does it have any tell tale signs of what it is? -
1991 mj. wipers work... kinda slow... but they work every time. when i got the truck the wiper fluid didnt work. did a motor swap and suddenly they began to work again, tried recently and now they don't work. applied direct power to pump and it works fine but nothing when twisting the multi-function switch. checked "wiper fuse and thats ok. but still no worky. how is power applied through the multi-function switch? are there any control boxes it goes through? also side note but relevant... my highbeams work but the indicator does not.... which is also controlled through that multi-function switch... changed bulb in dash and still nothing. . any idea on this? any one else experience this?

How did you do the grille? Looks pretty good. chrome door edging that you can buy at nearly any auto parts store. (~$15) then cut to fit. I believe it ends up being just over 7inches. and just some patience putting it on as the chrome edging likes to crack vs the standard black edging. the "chrome" is actually just foil inside of the clear edging. one roll did the whole project with enough left over to do one or two extra incase you mess one up. from your profile pic, I think it would go great with the other chrome you have -
