  4. What are the details on that gorgeous sidecar? BMW? My uncle bought it on the way up to drop off the trailer. Don't really know much about it but he's putting it on his Honda shadow
  5. We never get snow here in Bellingham but today we've gotten 8 inches. At my high school there was an 8 foot pile of snow I tried ovdrice through. Ended up getting stuck and had to use the winch. My fairlead roller broke I've also had to pull out 3 people now. I'm amazed at how well my jeep does in the snow Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Pretty icy around my area so got to pull out a few people. One of my friends hit a curb and bent his control arms on his subi so I had to drag him home Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. I was giving this trialer yesterday. Tandem axle tilt deck. 20ft by 8ft deck. My grandpa built it years ago. I'm going to paint it black and put my logo on it. I'm going to use my dads Silverado to pull it most of the time but the comanche might try to pull it too. I also got this vise and gave it a nice paint job with my new spray gun Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. a camera friend did that for me. I usually don't care but he's good with photoshop and did that hhaa
  12. ya I hope it has trailer brakes ahhaa
  13. the bumper mounts are the mates 4x4 diy kit which are 1/4 plasma cutted steel and I tied them into 1 inch thick flat stock that's also the shackle mounts
  14. So i am being given a 20ft light duty tilt deck trailer that my grandpa built years ago. I'm wondering about towing it with my truck. Obviously I wouldn't be towin cars with it, I'll used my dads Silverado for heavy loads but what's a safe weight to tow with my truck? Also, my homemade bumper is very high so I will need a big drop hitch, any recommendations? I have a 4.0, ax15, 4wd, ford 8.8. My bumper is very strong but only mounted to the frame using 6 grade 8 bolts that go into the stock bumper holes that are threaded. What I'll be hauling mostly is steel from the scrap yard and car parts. The trailer overall is 24ft long.i have no pictures of the trailer but here's two of my bumper and how high off the ground it is: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. 15.7 mpg on the freeway. Pretty good in my opinion. I was going 75-80. 33s 4.10s. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  17. Went to the gas station today and some dude in a slammed Toyota got beach on a hump so I had to hook up a strap to him and pull him off haha. Just put the jeep in 4 low and it had no problem
  18. Ya I was talking about tire chains
  19. My heater control valve also cracked today. A plastic piece broke off in the rubber hose, but luckily napa had one in stock and i had it fixed in 15 mins
  20. Today me and my girlfriend went up to a spot here in Whatcom County called Samish overlook. Its a skinny gravel road and today had hard packed snow/ice on it with 4 inches of powder off to the side. My jeep did amazing. Really the first time I've driven on that kind of terrain. I just put it in low range going down hills and never had a problem. Was really happy with how it performed. 5 cars got stuck on the way up/down. I tried winching a subura outback out of a deep ditch but the comanche is too light and i didn't have chains. I used the snatch block off a tree but it still didn't do much. A guy in a cummins with chains ended up having o pull out 5 people haha. Sadly didn't get any pics of the jeep but I'm really happy with how it did!
  21. Thanks got her all fixed up and runnin again
  22. This part cracked. It is plastic and connects three rubber hoses from the coolant reservoir. It started leaking on the way home from the scrapyard and then when I started messing around it cracked in half and I need a new one quick because I got to be somewhere thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. lol, I had my truck on open headers for a day and it was horrible. It had a flowmaster super 44. No cat but 2.25 tubing. I love how it sounds. Barely hear it in the cab but sounds really throaty outsideAwesome. I was thinking Flowmaster 44 or flowmaster 40, I think I will go with the 44. Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk If I was you too, I'd leave your cat on, when I took mine off it made it a little louder but honestly doesn't sound as good
