I have a few friends with Rusty's lifts and they all love them.

Looks good! What kind of metal did you use flat sheet or box steel?

what is the SJ?

All of Rusty's AAL kits are a full length AAL. I will be going bigger later but this is all I can afford for the time being.

I have a related question any opinions on these lifts. I am considering getting the Rusty's 3in AAL.

I am not much into the whole stereo thing any more but a friend of mine used to have a comanche that he fit 2 12s in the back of. He is 6'2" and had a bench seat all the way back. He made a custom box for them himself. It was loud and sounded really nice.

I really hate the color red but I think in this caes it looks the best. no roll bar as well. my vote red

I am getting mine with a t case that needs to be rebuilt streatched chain for about $250-300

sorry I missed the part on the rocky road site where it said sepecifaly made for short wheel based comanches. In a defense on their behalf when they refer to hitch steel they may just be putting it into simple terms. Since most people that would buy rock rails may not have or trust theire fabbing skills to make them their selves and thus not really know what it was if they wrote grade b box steel.

looks good I like the no roll bar option a little better with the subdued red. So when is the final version comming out? When are these things going to be ready? What will the cost be? I will be in for one. I realy would like a sticker. Some thing with maybe just the lines ones color that could be pur on windows. I really don't like putting stickers on painted surfaces.

HA! 6'1 lol :shock: :shock: do you "fit" easily..lol That was what I was thinking as well. We are short because tall guys buy XJs so they can fit better.

you can find cheaper spacers at these places, to name a few. All XJ front suspension parts work on the MJ. Rusty's Offroad Rocky Road Outfitters Rubicon Express if all else fails try this Google good luck

might i ask why go from the 6cyl to the 4cyl?

I got 17 of 25. I also go thung up on the XJ? and most of the old old jeep stuff.

Cool thanks! I might make some doors then. I want to whell it normal for a bit first. There is alot of messy stuff where I will wheel so I willhave to really think about the trail doors.

just for a future reference. Are 4dr XJ doors and MJ doors the same size and compatable to switch. I just ask because it is much easier to find XJ's for parts than MJ's If I want to do a trail door project some time.

CWLONGSHOT If you are planning on getting some different 31s will you sell me the trxus? I was going to order a set when I got back to CT. I could pick them up from you when I get back to the states. I will be living in eastern CT.

Is this really a 3in lift? Got any more pics. I was thinking of a 4.5 w/ spring over rear but if I could also fit 33s with only a 3in that would be good.
