  10. . And the second was to make it a little more man friendly under the truck , this was something I thought of probably 6 years ago and is my IMO one of the best up upgrades iv done in a long time ! you sir, are a genius  awesome build though
  11. No huge updates but all the wiring is back in. Heater core with the evaporator is installed. That was a treat to get that in.. Finished the floors. Decided that I'm going to put 2x6 steel in for the rockers to fix the rust and have sliders. Hopefully going to get the interior tied up next week and and get the motor in and axles swapped. Doesn't feel like it but it is coming together
  12. it should run off the lever on the lower end of the column, through a clip on the left, then out the firewall to the trans.
  13. I bought a 90' comanche literally out of the weeds and in pieces a while back and am now on the verge of putting it back together. the whole dash was removed so the column shift was detached. I understand the components of it: lever, pin to hold it to the column, and the spring inside to hold it down. Here is my issues at first i couldn't find the spring. then i find its still inside the column so i start the reassembly. however, the spring doesnt keep enough tension on the lever to keep it from slopping around. i tried to remove the spring and it seems to be wedged in there pretty good. I'm wondering if the spring is forced in to far so its not applying enough pressure or am i missing a piece. Ive never worked on a column shift before and am trying to put back together a pile pf parts i bought. any help is appreciated.

  16. My buddy scrapped a ZJ today and I stole the booster off it quick before that so now I can justify getting rid of the load sensing valve in the rear. I ordered some of the metal tow mirror looking mirrors yesterday as well. have done some work recently just no pictars.. just reassembly at this point. will have pics next go round!

  18. All a flare does it extend out from the side of the truck to keep debris down. A lift and fender trimming are the only things that will give you extra clearance. If you think about it if a flar is open above the normal wheel arch the tire will still contact the arch first
  19. Will you ship to Wisconsin and what one is in the best shape?
  20. It'll probably get cut down and put on the rear of the Ape at some point... not really sure just yet. It's kind of a matching set with the front that came off the Eliminator. Kind of like making sure your belt matches your shoes, you know? All in the details. :laughin: I here that! just figured id ask
