  1. i currently have a 3'' pro comp lift with 31's. it rides really smooth on the highway. and rides great on trails
  2. If you get stuck in a mud hole you can remove the carpeting and place it under your tires. i don't know if you ment that to be funny but i got a pretty kick out of it

  4. i was searching through the forums and stumbled apon the parking brake recall and decided to see if my year is on the list. while searching i found this 1990 Jeep Comanche Recall Item Affected: VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL: CRUISE CONTROL Date Announced: 01/04/1991 Description of Recall:MALFUNCTION OF FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM THROTTLE POSTITION SENSOR COULD CAUSE INTERMITTENT HIGH ENGINE IDLE SPEED IMMEDIATELY AFTER STARTING ENGINE. Action Need To Fix It:REPLACE THROTTLE POSITION SENSORS WITH SENSORS THAT WOULD SEND CORRECT SIGNALS TO THE FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM. FIND YOUR LOCAL Jeep Service Center when i start my truck it revs to about five thousand and then quiets back down to normal. i found this on the website http://www.dealerrater.com/recalls/Jeep/Comanche/ there are many other recalls as well on these things

  6. the guy said it used to be a 2x4 but was swapped over to a 4x4. isnt completly finished yet. but the truck has some potential. automatic. already has bucket seat swap...i may end up buying the truck and just stealing the interior. i am more then willing to show anybody where it. not sure on the year of it. i i know it has a 4.0
  7. i meant to fix my signature last night but forgot. I just bought a 90 Pioneer with a 3'' pro comp lift. 5 speed. 31's. i will try and remember to take some pictures tomorrow
  8. what gear ratio is everybody running in their MJ? I am thinking about changing mine. i'm talking everyday drivers and toys
  9. my dashboard light did this as well when i wired in my cd player.

  11. it turns out there was two hot wires for some reason. i switched the wires and it started working again
  12. the battery went dead in my mj and now the kenwood cd player isnt working anymore. i tried putting in another cd player and still won't work. there is no harness so i can't just plug that in. it is all straight wired. thats how i got it. i am getting plenty of current from the pink wire. but i don't know much else to do

  15. it also dosent over heat or any thing that would show signs of the headgasket being busted it just leaks same with the oil pan
  16. i recently bought a 90 Comanche, i will be posting pics soon. i noticed that it burns oil and has a leak on the passenger side above the oil filter under the head only in a four inch or so spot. i beleive it also is leaking around the oil pan as it is pretty oilly and kinda drips from the drain plug. is this gonna be a hard job to do? of course i am gonna take the time and do it correctly. thanks for any advice.
