Along the lines of the turn signal, could it be your flasher? I replaced mine and it solved the problem.

A couple months ago I made my 2wd to 4wd. It works fine and dandy, but I don't have the harness that goes from the transfer case to the transmission harness connector (if that's what its called). Anybody have an idea what that harness is? If you know what I'm talking about. Thanks, Steve

I replaced my leaky gasket, then found one of the metal lines had a crack in it right where it meets the face of the sending unit, J.B. weld works wonders.

I had a column shift, but he column broke so i converted it to a floor shift, and it works great.

Checked the ground for the rear harness.

I just swapped my MJ to 4wd and I have a shift pattern to the NP231 but I have the 242 in my Jeep. Would it be alright if I left it like that? Or would I need to get the 242 pattern? I can shift it through all the gears still.

Which Volvo injectors did you use?

That's what he is asking, it won't work if he swaps the whole drivetrain in. It needs to have the parts that work with his year electronics. Unless he is swapping harnesses too. Ahh gotcha

Could be a bad TPS. Of the Tips in my link below, how many have you done? I haven't done any.

Just put the whole drivetrain in the MJ

I ran into this issue before i put in my floor shifter, I put toggle switches that controlled my lights there, it worked really well for that.

There are some mounting brackets in the XJ that you may need to swap over to your MJ too.

Mine idles anywhere from 250-2200. I have no idea why.
