They work really good. Our summer wasn't as hot as normal but I think the hottest I seen on the gauge was 185 degrees. They are quality parts.- 235 replies

Haven't been on in awhile so I thought I would give an update. I have been battling a vibration above 65 mph and finally got it figured out. It was a slightly bent wheel. I put a used set of tires on it a while back and I guess when they were put back on the vehicle it was put on the right front. I did all the fixes on Comanche club but nothing did it and I told the wife I guess tires are next. When the kid was balancing them one of them wanted 7.5 oz. on the outside and 3.5 oz. on the inside. They told me I had a bent rim but I was skeptical. I want to keep my factory rims to be different so I ordered one off ebay and got it yesterday. Installed it today and sure enough it fixed it. Now why didn't the other tire shop notice the wheel wobbling? I guess they won't be getting any more of my money. To be fair it wasn't bent bad, but the other guys caught it right away. I have driven about 1600 miles so far and It runs good but the gas mileage sucks. 14 mpg is normal. Now on to the water leaks. I fixed a leak around the antenna cable and one above the fuse box but a little is still coming in up front and some I think around the back window or possibly through the slider. I love driving this little bugger and can't wait to get it painted. I'm thinking flat white with the rims painted silver. And one other detail I will wait to reveal. Not big but I think it will set it off.- 235 replies

I would check out Novak or another conversion company. They are proven to fit.

I have USAA also. I tried to get their specialty insurance and they basically go through other companies. They transferred me to two other companies and they wouldn't insure it because I told them I would be driving it some to work and other places. They said they only insure vehicles that are rarely driven and to and from car shows and such. They did say I could get it appraised and then get an "agreed value" policy. As it is I have full coverage and only pay $33 a month. USAA is a heck of a lot cheaper than other companies I will say that.

I tried the HSV procedure a couple times and it didn't work. Maybe my valve was bad, I don't know. I had to unhook one of the lines but it stops good. If you mash the pedal going fast then the rear end will try to come around some but I grew up without ABS so I am familiar with what to do when it happens.

Need Help With Lift 87 Comanche
kansashogan replied to seanp0216's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I have the Superlift kit mentioned above and I can tell you it is a roughrider. The springs are about .100 thicker than stock. I have a 350 in my truck and I needed some clearance between headers and upper control arms and I figured they wouldn't sag much. They have settled a little, though. -
I hope you get it all figured out. Good luck

kklimer87 was selling the same tail lights on here and ebay. I was going to buy them off here but once he got a bid on ebay he was stuck. Won't be doing business with him.
