wait, don't you have some power wires that run down that side? you wanna keep all power wires away from RCAs as it can pick up interferance (SP?) -

Yea its a little packed back there, but can be done. bottom right corner is where i poked mine threw, then ziptied the cable under the dash over to the kick panel. can use a coat hanger from under the dash till it gets in the bay then tape the rca to the hanger and slowly pull it back out. Just keep trying different things till you get it. -

Anyone ever try to put a 96 4.0 intake (P#53010236) on a 94 4.0 Engine? I know the P/S brakets don't interchange, but can one make it work? i ask cuz i broke a ear off my intake and want to fix it before i sell it and i have a spare 96 intake sitting here collecting dust. (I have to much of a heart to sell broken stuff to some poor Sap) -

76-78 cadillac eldo will work. From what i understand you need to use the ebrake offten so they stay adjusted. i have never used them, but was looking up some info for a hotrod project. hope this helps -
i know i seen some some place while looking for LCA mounts, but they didnt look as good as the ballistic ones, and think they were 2x the price. ive kinda been following the ballistic saga, and it seems if you call you get what you ordered, but internet orders have been sucking. if you do order don't expect much for customer service and be prepaired for some trouble. if it all goes smooth then great. I myself would like to pick up a set but will wait to see what happends in the long run. i have been burnt before (Crawl) so will wait to see if they rebound. i know Rustys has a set for $200, but not sure if they have the LCA mounts on them. if anything give Dan a call from RuffStuff (916.600.1945) and see if he has something like it. hes a good guy and will bend over backwords to help some one out :clapping:

$600 bucks? you sure you got that number right? pretty sure amco or the race shop down the street does it for 125 plus parts. so maybe $325 total as far as how it bent, the PO put it in a ditch twice in the same day. out playing in the snow he hit a ice patch on the way up and put it in ditch, pulled it out and continued playing. way back down hit the same patch and put the other side in the ditch. one hell of a body man tho, when i first got it it looked good with a few imperfections, but during hunting season a 1 1/2 in thick SLAB of bondo fell off the bed while driving down a washed out road. maybe i'll jus buy the housing and tinker with it till i can find work. thanks guys -
another bent d30 question
XxStirCrazedxX replied to XxStirCrazedxX's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
was kinda thinking about that but was trying to save cash (unemployed) an they want another $30 for the ring/pinon/carrier bringing total to $60 when i can get a good used one for $100 off CL. don't really have the extra cash to buy a whole axle..so was thinking the $30 sounded pretty good with my parts in it. :wrench: Thanks -
ok guys d30 in my Comanche is bent to the point that i eat tires in a week or so. guys at shop say its FUBR and i believe as i myself set the alignment within 1/8th in and still eats tires. Local JY has a housing in the pick in pull for $30. so if i get just the housing, could i swap my internals with out much problem? my Comanche is 86 and so is the XJ thanks
