  1. Just figured I would start a fresh thread for this, because it seemed to get lost at the end of the other LKQ thread. So far, the plan is for a Junkyard run to LKQ Self-service auto parts, and finish it up with lunch/dinner at The Tilted Kilt Pub afterwards for beer and grub. LKQ Self-serve 601 N. Harrison Rockford, IL 61104 http://lkqselfserve.com/FindaLocation/L ... fault.aspx Tilted Kilt :brows: 7801 E. State Street Rockford, IL 61108 http://www.tiltedkilt.com I am in, as always, but this is for the who's in, who's out, and comments... Rob L.
  2. Trip to the LKQ junkyard in IL... Its buried at the end of the other LKQ thread. And by your reaction, I should start a new thread. Rob L.
  3. Anyway... Maybe I should start a new thread for the Feb 8th trip... Be easier for new guys too see... Rob L. :dunno:
  4. Rob L.
  5. I demand that the mods delete this thread due to its total hijacking, and askew of initial topic. Rob L. :rotfl2:
  6. But it looks so sexy in black with amber lenses... Rob L.
  7. Pete, put the black grille back on. Please. EDIT: Axe the euro lenses too... :ack: Rob L.

  9. :hijack: Sorry, I'll let this be the end of the Hi-jack. Nice Darren! That's just what I expected. It never ceases to amaze me how short those hoods are. Props on the black wheels and round headlights. Rob L.
  10. Yeah that's right, you got a problem with that?! Actually I bought it because I need a DD while my MJ was under the knife, and it was $600. I sold it when I got a company truck, for $900. Great car, I would totally buy another. Once I hauled 4 35x12.50R15 wheels and tires ( the ones on my MJ) with a passenger. My best tank in that thing was over 50 mpg, no lie. Nothing wrong with that... I just can't picture it. But you and I are on the same page with DD's... In a pinch, I would take anything that seemed cheap and reliable. Why the hell not a festiva. Would make for some good jokes too. Rob L.

    Well said. :USAflag: Rob L.
  12. I never said anything about a house... :D I just said to find some dense woods, which don't have to be yours, and make a hooverville with the trucks. Rob L. :dunno:
  13. I say eff them all, find some thick woods, park all the Jeeps close together, and string up some tarp tents... Rob L.
  14. Workin': I used to have some MJ working shots, but I suppose only one's I have now are the ZJ towing Jakeman's MJ. Rob L.
  15. Sweet. According to the website for the stuff, its got a built in anti-corrosion compound in the stuff. I like it... Darren, festiva? Rob L. :rotfl2:
  16. Think they could have moved your stuff out? Rob L.
  17. Protecto wrap? :hmm: Care to share details? Rob L.
  18. If you were supposed to move them two weeks ago, but were in the hospital, and didn't move them... What now? Rob L.
  19. Have you tried getting a quote from a local reupholster-er in your area? That would most likely be the best option, as our seat parts are no longer made, or available... It might cost a bit more to have it done locally, but we used to do it at work for the city trucks. The drivers edge would always wear out from the constant getting in and out. He would put new foam in, re-work the springs if necessary, and fix/replace the cover... Felt like a brand new seat. Rob L.
  20. Brent, when were you heading through again? Rob L.
  21. That video was of a fullsized ford. Rob L.
  22. Sounds like a lot of problems... I'll give you $5 for the truck. Eh. You already know how I feel. +1 for lowering it and using 33's. Rob L.
  23. If I have room yes... :dunno: Its a constant work in progress... I still haven't finished the garage yet. Rob L.
  24. Never mind on the bezel, I think I can see it in your original post. Rob L.
  25. Those cargo light screws should be brittle if they have been in that long... I would go back and try to break off the tip inside of the cab to free that thing... Should come out then. Did you at least grab the bezel? That looks to be an '86, or '87 with '86 badges... Hmm. And I didn't think they had Laredo's yet in '86... Just Base, X, and XLS... Hmm. Rob L.
