  1. Pictures of the old resistor and the cleaned up blower connections.
  2. I'll pick some up today.
  3. I just watched a couple of videos. Doesn't appear to be too complicated. Will get the part and do it today.
  4. Fuse is fine. Everything else is working. I went out this morning and the blower didn't come on. As I was pulling out of my driveway I moved the switch from "normal" to "off" and as I passed the "Max" mark the blower came on. I moved the switch down to normal and cycled through the fan speeds and everything worked fine. I also noticed while I was rolling that before the fan came on, I could feel cold air just barely coming out of the vents but it would stop when I stopped rolling. I opened the rectangle fuse box under the hood and pulled the big square fuse that was marked air conditioner and 2 of the prongs looked slightly discolored. I'm not sure where the resistor is.
  5. Replacing the slave will be a shop job. I can't do that myself.
  6. When it stops running it doesn't work on any speed.
  7. You're right. The green wire is part of the old connector. WHen I got the new fan, it had red and black wires so I connected the red and green together and the two black wires together because the new fan didn't come with the quick connector already on it. So, if the ground isn't the problem, what would make the fan just stop running then a day later suddenly start again?
  8. IS the fix to replace the master cylinder?
  9. Mine's a 91 and has 3 wires. Red, black and green. I assume the green is the ground. Can I just make a new ground connection with that wire?
  10. My heater blower would stop working when the air outside was hot so no air conditioning. I replaced the fan about 3 weeks ago and it was working fine then yesterday, I started the truck and nothing when I moved the switch to normal air conditioning. Was like that all day and until about 6:30 last night when it just randomly came on while I was driving. It had rained a bit so was a little cooler out. This morning, cranked the truck and it's still working fine but the moment it gets hot outside, I bet it will stop again. I'm thinking it's not the motor since it's new. What else could it be?
  11. I have an interesting problem. The gears shift fine but if I stop and just sort of let my foot rest on the clutch, I can feel it slowly depress and sometimes when I'm in reverse, I can't get it out of reverse. I have to either let the truck die or turn it off to take it out of reverse. I suspect a tiny leak in the slave cylinder. How much does that typically cost to replace and is that even the problem. I'm not losing any clutch fluid.
  12. I need the rest of the parts that will connect the lockset to the rod inside the door. Can someone point me towards a good schematic or a list of what I need please?
  13. Anybody know where I can get one for my 91 comanche? I have to replace the lock and the clip is missing.
  14. Mine started working again. I found that it would work in the mornings but not in the afternoons then I discovered that if I didn't turn the blower off it would keep working and has ever since my first post about this. I have no idea what that would be unless it's a loose connection somewhere. I'm going to leave it alone for now.
  15. I'm working on that.
  16. A helluva expensive transport!
  17. I would be interested but you're too far away from me to make it even possible, let alone practical. Somebody wants it, though. As the saying goes, "They ain't makin' 'em like that no more." Yep....You're a ways away.
  18. Got final settlement on the truck today. More than I expected. Not seeing any interest in anyone buy it, I'm gonna let it go.
  19. So, the appraiser says it will cost more to repair than it's worth. We knew that. If I buy this truck back, what is the interest in anyone here purchasing it?
  20. On a positive note, I have blacksmith friends who can straighten the tow bar but let me ask, since it's no longer being towed behind an RV, should I just remove it?
  21. I appreciate the offer, Knucklehead, and nice try, but think I won't be just giving it away. Some questions though, did you do the work yourself? That's sorta my problem, I don't know how to do a lot of this.
