  12. Bought my first Comanche, which is the 27th Jeep I have bought and built. What I am planning on doing is cannibalizing my 98 Grand Truggy. Which I will be removing everything from the Truggy. Which leaves me the question of keep and fab-up the rear axle with coils or keep the leafs and go with revolver shackles or go leafs and rear sliders. This will be a daily driver hard core weekend wheeler. What's your thoughts.
  13. Rymanrph Nice clean build
  14. manche_mane I noticed you are running front drop brackets for your control arms. Where did you get yours from? I have used Rough Countrys on several of my XJ builds, but was told they would not work on a MJ. wasn't told why they wouldn't. Nice rig you have.
  15. xjustinx Sir you definitely have one very nice MJ. like the pics of your build-up.
  16. Amazing attetion to detail. great build. Any updates?
  17. I have built and flipped 26 jeeps in the last 20 years. Took me the last 3 years to find my first Comanche I wanted to build. I believe this one will have sentimental value and will be handed down to my Grandson. One nice Comanche keep the memories coming.
  18. Great progress so far keep the updates coming. I'm converting a 88 2wd Eliminator to 4wd. I have total stripped out my 98 Grand Truggy to transform the Eliminator into a DD crawler.

  20. Ok now can anyone give me some idea as how to cut from the front of the back doors to the tail lights off my grand so I can build a tube bed. I know i will need frame stiffners. from that point on is my question.I think the sub frame on the Comanche is boxed out and build stronger than my grand.
  21. I guess I might not belong on this site due to I have been building jeeps for hard core off roading and I have not but wanted to build a Comanche. So came across that picture which stricked my interest to do a bed build on my Grand Cherokee. A tree fell on it and its cut like a 2 door what I call Grand Camino.
