you know you can get perches that sit higher like lift blocks except lift-perches right? i would say on the high end like 5.5-6 using normal perches i don't remember exactly how much thicker the tubes on mine are though -
89 Pioneer. basically done

those stock bedliners take some abuse man. they REALLY protect the metal underneath. i didnt have one at all then got an actual factory COMANCHE one. (says manche in it :brows: ) and its been real nice. -
But you hit that accord, accordingly! lol oh, that accord got the short end of the stick on that one man. bumper was bout an inch from his rear windshield. my bumper stilll looks EXACTLY the same as when i bought it... all it did was push the rad into the clutch fan and chew it to hell. and re-broke the fiberglass where it had been patches years ago :USAflag: :brows:

 all praise the google master

when pulled over i immediately change the radio to either classic rock station, or country, turn it down so its audible but barely. talk a little southern, use sir, and stuff like that. that said... i've been pulled over twice for 15 over... no tickets. (cept the one where inailed that accord but you can't get out of those  )

Werd. I have the best control myself with a grinder. Doesn't the tape help your paint from chipping? we've had the same 5" angle grinder for years, chopped all sorts of stuff, great with straight lines. -
drove by a REALLYYYY nice manche my friend has told me about it before. brown, CLEAN shiny GA body, 35ish" claws maybe? idk i put the magnet under the windshield wiper cuz the paint looked a lil clean to slap it on there ;) so hopefully you join up! if not, ill just keep driving by and enjoying. :D

mine has the b-pillar plastic, and the plastic around the door and a-pillar... no carpet/headliner/backwallcarpet looks fine, its red. gets real hot. uh, one thing worth mentioning is rubber floormats are an amazing addition, mine came with them when i bought it. not like tacky ones just simple grey (interior color)rubber floormats.

who was the guy with the GINORMOUS beautiful white one with 44s f&r and front leafs? i think it had 37" claws on it he did leafs as well.

gotta love GA trucks... not a spec of rust on mine welcome to the club, you'll find quite a few who've done the bed-hack, and some nice lookin 97+ front clips. sounds like its gonna be a bad rig soon... i don't think anyone in the club is runnin the TNT longarms yet though, you might be the first oh yeah, beers in the fridge  -

Tow Hook Bracket Alternative
Oizarod115 replied to HOrnbrod's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
my rusty's towhook brackets/towhooks took a 20mph impact and saved the bumper and frame from any damage at all... EFFED that accord up though man, the rear bumpr was almost into the rear glass. sheared the brackets down and bent em back 1/4" steel  bumper looks good as new. -
i'll probly hit that yard up again soon, there were PLENTY of them there to chose from... these fans are 247$ on ebay and rockauto so :brows: :brows: i might could pull you a set if you wanted, i think i paid about 20 bucks for it with 30 day waranty ore pics here: this one shows how close it was to not fitting. remarkably easy to stuff in there for how tough it looked like it was gonna be
-
d44 only has a 8.5" ring gear and a few more splines so its not that much beefier... your axle should be fine. the d30 is pretty stout little axle, and yours should have the 297 u-joints, it should be fine, it all depends on your drivin style. but you could get a super30 cromolly kit for it
-
you were killin that trail man! nice trip looks like sloppy gloppy haha,

the CFM on ford taurus dual fans should be 4500 or something which is WAY more than enough. (go-jeep does a writeup on them) i asked on naxja hopin intrepidxj would post up, cause he builds/races intrepids iirc
-
do you happen to know the CFM on them or anything? i found this set already pulled :brows: then another set with a little surface rust on the motor already pulled nearby, then about 40956 other intrepids. that jy is HUGE wired the fan up through an extra relay i had layin around with 12g wire powering it, should be plenty big don't ya think? worst thing was the jeep wouldnt crank this morning.. and i fought with it for a while, finally decided it had to be the battery terminals, it was. cut the wires off, stripped em, and put new ends on cranks right up i hate corrosion :headpop:

so i was at ye olde junkyard yesterday and noticed (3 waggys with f&r axles and springs 2 d44 combos, 1d44/amc20) and a Jtruck with locking hubs/full width axles) but thats another story. :brows: jy here is a GOLD MINE for em. i was walkin round lookin through stuff and found this..! its a dual electric fan setup from a 94-97 dodge intrepid (and a whole lot of other cars) and said...MINE! well the fan motor as you can see is BIG. ~5.5" deep and the shroud is 15" tall, factory space is 12.5"~3" so i definately had NO space there. flipped the fans over so the big motor was on the PSpump side, and cut down the shroud, moved the radiator 1.5" forwards, and the motor for the fan sits with a nice 1/4" of space between it and anything else next to the waterpump pulley. ill get some pics of it in the truck tomorrow, didnt have to worry about mounting them or bolting down cause the factory peice that goes over the rad. and the bottom crossmember there wedge them in perfect. fans draw HELLA amps though, +20 somehting i know the small one draws 5a the big one more than 15a truck runs alot cooler at idle, still have to buy a thermostat-style-switch to control the main one, for now theyre both switched throuhg a relay on a single switch, but the plan is to wire the main one on a thermostat switch with the ignition powering it, and the smaller on the switch i have in the dash. i have no clue on the CFM rating of these, but they work
