So i'm going to look at/buy an 89 2wd comanche tuesday. The guy told me that it would turn over and start to run but when the rpm's drop it dies. He said it has been sitting for a while. I was thinking bad gas? *noob question warning*Do you think it would run if i just poured some fresh gas into the tank with the old gas?:nuts: I know it would be better to drain the tank and replace the fuel filter but i won't have time to do it where the thing sits. Does the tank have a drain plug?. I'm just trying to avoild trailer this thing home.

yeah it sucks but is the best i can do with ms paint.

Well tomorrow after work I'm going to look at an 89 2dr xj that I Found her on Craigs List . I have not had much luck finding a MJ that's in my price range or thats remotely near me. I'm just planning on light off roading. Plans 2"-3" lift(I'm wanting to stick 31s under her) 31 bfg a/ts fog/driving lights corp. rear w/ limited slip(if her rear an't a d44) tow hooks/hitch I'm sure i'll buy her and a mj will pop up.

Jeep made fullsize trucks 63?-73 gladiator and 74-86? J-seires(Honcho) The numberone reason jeep doesn't have a modern Fullsize truck is because Diamler doesnt want an inhouse competitor to the Ram

elminators were available in 2wd and 4wd starting in 90. so its probably not an elminator.

your wife sounds totally awesome. whats the game plan for it. I've allways loved the way the full size jeeps looked. I really wanted to get a 76-79 j-10 and throw a 401 with a mild cam and edlbrock fuel injection...well thats my dream atleast.

i've seen both 88 and 89 eliminators both were 2wd......i think i read somewhere that 90 or 91 was the first year eliminators were offered in 4wd models
