  9. The star washers are a great idea for aluminum I believe they make lock Tite for aluminum also? If you have alot trouble with the threads again I would Heli-Coil them. You can retain the 1/4 size but will have steel inserts in the holes and its MUCH stronger than aluminum that it will be in. The military and aircraft industry them alot and you can do it yourself. Its not cheap though as your buying a tap and drill in the kit.
  10. My wife would pack me a lunch and give me gas money to go away!
  11. I just sold one of them (the exact original model unbuilt) got around $60.00 I think.

I have thought about my own but have never tried it you will have to let me know how she makes out. Every day the cost of doing bussiness goes up on e-prey.

    99 XJ Stumble

My 99 4.0 XJ stumbles a bit when first started and you try to pull out for about 20-30 seconds no check engine light (I think that means no codes) Any thoughts?
  23. Yes GRAB them no real differance in them and MJ buckets except the bases I drove over 3 hours to find mine and they did not even use rivets they had bolts in them. And its not really that bad using the MJ bench bases. I will try to find the link to the write up on here there is one. And do not forget to get the seat belts on the floor the bucket seat ones stand up on there own the bench ones fall down.
  24. I bought MJ slider brackets off ebay ($$$$) and 92xj seats from a two door. Everthing on mine unbolt and bolted directly back on. The later 97 Up xj seats will not bolt right up. There is a link on here where some one installed newer XJ seats with some fabbing. There is a way also to use the MJ bench brackets on xj seats but I do not think they will slide to adjust. Then theres xj seats that used a "rocker" they sit quite a bit higher in the MJ. Try the search theres tons of seat posts mor ethan I can ever tell ya.
