All I can say is most likely I would have been in jail if she did that to me. He should have at least idled up the truck some so she could smell more exhaust.

Heater Hose Coolant fittings. Repair and Conversion.
sinkrun replied to skidoo_j's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I have the same universal overflow on the same conversion. It seems to blow fluid out the top of the lid since it has cut outs in it and I have to add fluid every so often. I like this upgrade with the factory tank I will be looking for one let me know if you find where to get it. -

I would pay the shipping if you have the time to ship it and some extra for beer. -
I like Brandons idea allot great thinking. When I want to talk to someone I don`t know I wait until I can catch them outside. However don`t wait to long I had my eye on a MJ with a plow that was sunk down in the ground and within a few weeks it was scrapped.

That would be great maybe try to find 2 in case the original poster may wants one. I have been told that people are using them as cores to make heavy off road ones? Theres one on ebay right now he wants $40.00 and $16.00 to ship it. -

I have been trying to find a good used one(mount) also and no luck. The junk yards around here want 50.00 or more for one which is crazy. Mine is so bad its getting hard to drive and rattling can't tighten it any more. I am thinking of one from the dealer as I am just fed up with what yards want for stuff. -
From what I hear HESCO the only way to go.$$$

1988 Jeep Comanche- RARE!
sinkrun replied to Boots's topic in Craigslist/eBay... i.e. Not Your Stuff
I would be all over that if it were close to home! -
Its no fun we just went thru it a few months ago we looked about a month wanted around 3 acres and a garage was a must also. Your right what the bank makes you go thru is UNREAL! The closing cost was out of this world every time we talked to them it went up. My wife actually knows all the higher ups at the bank that worked on the loan and with my temper I was told to stay home as much as possible. And yes condition of some of these places was unreal also. Big thing here if it was out in the woods the water or sewer was messed up bad, roads were shared, leins etc. Finally we found one well under what the approval was for (yes they offer way more than anyone can afford) its small one story, finished basement, very well kept, wood burner , propane and oil hot water baseboard heat, one acre of ground all cleared it was 99% move in ready and best part is a LAGRE 2 car attached garage, huge closed in porch, 2 large sheds. Hit the owners at the right time it was listed in the high 80`s and few years ago then a guy tried a rent to own on it and gave up due to lack of money. We got it at $64,000.00 which I thought was a steal. But I do feel your pain we got lucky. We moved because our old place had a 25 x 100 lot no garage and rentals on all 4 sides and beyond and was getting to be hell. It was a cheap house in a bad neighborhood we were afraid we would never sell it even though it had alot of work and updates. Tried selling it by owner for a month or so and gave up as alot of gas wells are going in around here and they look on relators web sites since there from out of state. Sold it 13 days just last week full asking price in cash should close this week. Since we owned it no I have some money to set the new garage up with.

I now have my own 2 car garage to work in and some money to spend. Need some input on compressors if anyone has any to share. I have done some looking new used large and medium size. I would like one to paint with someday and run small air tools. How large or small can I go? I would like to stay around $300-$500 on one or do I have to go more?

Very sorry to hear that.

Mostly looks however I like stuff to work well also if I want to pull a large log or a stranded chevy out of a ditch I would expect it to. Hes only about 2 hours away and makes lots of bumpers I am thinking of hitting him up for a rear MJ bumper he has some listed for the XJ if you check his other options. BTW hows the pup doing?

Just found this they look good whats your opinions on this mounted on a non lifted MJ would it look ok? I just bent up my cheap china crap brush guard and have some money to spend. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1984-2001-JEEP- ... 230f135ea4

Its a closed system converted to open with a inline filler neck pressure bottle has been eliminated. The fan clutch when hot is quite free forgot to check it when cool. It should not be free when hot right?
-
No I never thought about that will do in the morning and throw a thermostat stat in.
-
My MJ is over heating at idle speed or crawling thru the wood slow. No air manual fan 4.0 about a 5 year old rad from advance. Just started this and its been cool here when it was 100 in did not do it. Just a idiot light no gauge yet any ideas before I throw money at it?

Thats is tough I have 2 beagles and a beagle redbone mix.

Sounds like you should have just done it yourself.
