  1. If I had the cash to spare, Id probably get them, http://www.ebay.com/itm/86-92-Jeep-Comanche-MJ-Rear-Tail-Light-Set-Pair-LH-RH-4x4-Pioneer-Limited-/200958464622?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3AJeep%7CModel%3AComanche&hash=item2eca0ed26e&vxp=mtr
  2. I might have some Comanche emblems that were painted, Ill have to check my stash,
  3. Kinda of an old pic, but its the only one I have of one of my pups(Lucy) with my MJ, shes a german shepard lab mix, awesome dog, Image Not Found
  4. what kind of steelie center caps do you need? I have a few of each
  5. Ill be watching this build, Ive been planning to build a dually MJ for a while, but not for another few years, I would like to see how this one works out, and maybe get some ideas from it,
  6. That's what I'm thinking, since Ill be pulling it out to check the sock filter airspeed mentioned about, I might as well replace once I'm at it, I'm almost positive its the original since the truck is an 89 with 93k miles,
  7. That's a couple hours from me, might be tempting for a road trip. I might go to a couple yards around town pretty soon, ill keep an eye out for a decent MJ roof, there were a couple last time I went a couple months back, nothing really worth picking from them, but both had decent cabs, both are probably crushed by now, but Ill have to check
  8. That could be a possibility being that I haven't filled the truck completely up since I don't drive it much and Ive had to remove the bed, which would be a PITA if the tank were full That's what I was thinking, but hoping that it won't,
  9. I was just about to post asking the same thing about that wire, I think its for the cargo light, can anyone verify this? Also kinda off topic but what junkyard did you go to that you found an MJ?
  10. Yes, the fuel pump, not sure why I was using the term "fuel sending unit". And yea it does its usual hum when you turn the key, Ill have to check the sock filter on the fuel pump, I already replaced the inline filter not too long ago, so that's good, and when I removed my bed to replace it, I moved the ground wire from behind the tail light to a clean spot on the frame, thanks for the info
  11. So a couple months ago my truck wouldn't start, figured out the fuel sending unit wasn't coming on, after a while of me and buddy messing with it, he decided to tap the side of the tank with a hammer a few times, I thought that's stupid it won't work, well guess what, it worked, fuel sending unit kicked on, truck started, good to go. But after a while since then Ive noticed the sending unit hums louder than normal when the truck is idling. I don't drive the truck often due to it being in its project stage, but Ive driven it a few miles here and there nothing too bad and it still continues to run fine, no sputtering or fuel pressure issues. My question is, is the humming a sign of my sending unit going out or is it just me?
  12. First off welcome to the madness, I'm not a huge chrome fan myself when it comes to these trucks, but its certainly different, which theres nothing wrong with that, if moore1031 sells you his driver side chrome mirror, I have a passenger side chrome mirror if youre interested,
  13. nice score on the parts, but I hope you picked up the cargo light switch and bezel, if not go back and get it, I made that mistake once,
  14. Thanks, it took me a while to get it where I like it,
  15. X2 without the stripes though and a different grill
  16. I have one, PM sent
  17. The tailgate I got for my truck had one, took it off to take the plastic bed liner off the tailgate and left it at the junkyard,
  18. Yea thats what happens when you own more than one jeep and you work at a tire shop haha, I have 6 different rim setups, and 2 different tire setups, but I can get new tires at a decent price if I really need to, but I think I'm going to stick with the moabs or a couple other choices I have depending on the color scheme I'm going with  I'm sitting at roughly 4.5in of lift with 265/75/16 or 32" tires, I originally was going to go all out and do the 6in long arm lift on 33s or 35s, but I don't need that much lift for what I'm gonna use the truck for,
  19. Not much to update, I was adjusting my tailgate to close better, and ended up snapping the bolt that holds the tailgate strape, got one from a member here, drilled out the old one and replaced it. Also got a a pair of XJ shackles to level the rear end with the front. also installed my factory rear bumper along with the hitch. As for the interior Ive installed my black headliner and a pair of black sunvisors pulled from an 86 XJ with black interior at the pick-n-pull. Also installed a pair of bucket seats and center console. Only have pics of the bumper and the truck leveled out. Will post better pics of the soon.
  20. Is the bolt pattern on those AEV wheels the 5x4.5 or 5x5? Ive been looking for AEV wheels that would fit my TJ, but only found the JK ones, luckily I got an awesome deal on some AEV Bridgers locally, but I would still like to be able to find them if I decide to put a pair on my MJ or other TJ
  21. Awesome looking MJ, more pics please

  23. X4 Being a truck like mine, 89 Pioneer, 4x4, 5 spd, 4.0, I'm curious to see it. Also mine came with a gas tank skid plate and a transfer case skid plate, but no front skidplate, although it did have some bolts hanging where one bolts up to, so I'm sure it did come with one at one point just not when I got it, maybe its just part of being a 4x4 Pioneer,
  24. This is the bolt I need
