Be cool, and stick with school! As far as the truck take it to Pete then have him install the lift for you> :brows:
  4. Hey how much did you pay for that? I just picked one up from a guy and want to know if I got a deal or not. I figured I'd put it on just to have something on there untill I get my T-n-T bumper. Looks good yet though. Think I found it.. this one here for $239? http://www.quadratec.com/products/72108_1002.htm Not to bad, I just might be happy with that for a while.
  5. Well how was Spring Creek?
  6. You could find a box good enough to cut out the peice you need not nessasarily a rust free one, no one would want to allow that. But I'd say just cut a peiece out from a cherokee, from the door or rear quarter, then weld her in and go from there. Sheet metal could work as well. Buddy of mine just replaced a peice in his rockers and you can't tell the difference. I would just cut 1" out side the rust area for your peice.
  7. I got them from a link to EBAY another member here posted up a month or so back. Maybe try a search on EBAY for them. I agree guys, its is too light a bracket. But it was a quick install. Did it all in an hour last night. I do like the fact that it can be seen over the hood and from a distance really dosen't look as obtrusive. I was looking at it again this am and think I may be able to use a 6" piece of large 4" angle iron for beefier bracket. This will allow the it to be mounted lower and closer to the jeep.... Its a work in progress. I'll work on it this week end when I dive into my new seats!!!! :brows: CW I got the link up check out my page here... http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/view ... 6&start=30 CW i still like the progress.

  9. Alright, just got new bushing in leaf spring and ordered my UBE from T-n-T, so as soon as those arrive I'm in business and going to start the buildup.
  10. Well named my jeep after me, MiNi Beast, being that we are both small in size but unleash like a beast. Don't judge a book by it's cover is my philosophy, so you may see the jeep but you may not see what's in it or under it. My jeep will not just be one of those bone stock with massive body lifts/blocks and some tires (cough...Ford..cough...Chevy...) and the drivers think they are Jimmy bad azz because of it. At first glance to most yeah, but to me my first glance is what is on the other side as I look through that 3in gap that their $150 just paid for, then was to cheap to buy gap guards...  what a tool. But nope I love the unibody and a true suspension lift, and I will love it when get stoker in to shut some of those ford guys up. So remember to watch out for MiNi Beast... and what's about to be unleashed!!!!!!!!
  11. I think she will but not have a good water seal on it. Could maybe ask a cap dealer. :dunno:
  12. I ripped the padding off then just went and bought some more at a local upholstry shop like twenty bucks to do my whole floor and it was thicker. Worked great to help deaden the sound of the cherry bomb. I sealed my floor first with bedliner.
  13. Thank you there Pete for clearing that up. Have a nice day guys.
  14. Bump for the newbies or the ones that don't know.
  15. This is why I posted the link for him, then said use search please, #1 rule be nice, I felt I was. I knew he was new so posted link and told him of the search button. Well, then people want to jump on my case saying not to turn this in NAXJA, but even Pete asked to use search button and to post in similar treads and to conserve space for the forum. But when you use the search button, click all terms and it shall work for you. As far as the Nookie, I know right, damn Aunt Flow is in town. :grrrr:

  17. Thats not the motto here. Maybe you forgot. Please ask any question you want as frequently as needed. :agree: Let's not turn into NAXJA Motto my as s! What is the search button for! Well what ever, but you are to search first then ask. Some people don't like reposting twice. I'm all for asking whatever when ever but help yourself first. If not then screw it, I won't try to help.
  18. http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/view ... highlight= try the search button before starting a new topic please.
  19. :agree: :wrench: Have fun! :fool:
  20. I had my buddy Dune Coon fab up a set using the shock mounts from the old with a 1/4" steel plate for the springs. Worked great. Then you can just cut off later when you get shock mounts. But if have some then just use some steel and make one yourself.
  21. Going to do the SOA or no?
  22. But I bet she looks real good going 8omph down the highway. :brows:
