  1. 1989 Jeep Comanche on 22's - $3200 (lake havasu city) http://mohave.craigslist.org/bar/4684777908.html
  2. those look great on there. any lift to fit them?
  3. the rubicon is kind of on fire right now, or at least the King Fire is very close. so it may not be an option for us. worth keeping an eye on.
  4. moab is whenever. i would stay away from Easter Safari, as its too crowded for my liking. from easter through late summer its a happenin place. i think colorado would be fun. ive also heard some good stuff about Idaho. Or, we could plan a point to point trip, expo style, and members could join for whatever parts theyd like.
  5. well since those east coasters have a thread, I feel like we need a thread too! So.....yea...... Seriously though, who would be down for a western pow wow sometime next year? I tried to get a Moab Pow Wow together last year, but it just didnt come together, and alot of people ended up having to bail at the last minute. BUT, since its only september, we have seven months at the bare minimum to get this thing together. so whos got suggestions? whos interested in making this happen? where should we all meet? and when?
  6. i checked in
  7. just called a mobile locksmith, and its $95 to have them make a new one.
  8. how bad of a swap is that?
  9. so I lost the ignition key for an 89 XJ that ive got. so you just call your local Jeep dealership and ask for the key code, right? wrong. they don't go back that far. called the 2 biggest ones in the area, and neither of them could look back to 89. short of swapping the cylinder out, what are my options?
  10. first off, best place to upload pics from that i use is photobucket. then just grab the image code, throw some around it, and boom, picture. second, price. I'd put that around 1500 to maybe 2000. sounds like its in good shape, but its 2wd, and its got a salvage title. AC parts arent hard to find if youre good in a junkyard.
  11. year? engine? 2wd or 4wd? short bed or longbed? trim level? lifted? stock? rust? miles? i could go on for days...
  12. 37s: 5.5" over stock front, SOA rear 40s; same suspension, lots of trimming
  13. looking at a map, i would say that utah/colorado/wyoming looks pretty 'central' for the western US, and somewhere around West Virginia looks kinda central for the east coast crew. but it also depends on where most of our members are coming from.
  14. i feel like a 'central' location will still scare off alot of people. disney OK is still 1200 miles from me (utah) and further from the west coast crew. maybe a western pow-wow and an eastern pow-wow?
  15. i might be interested. i tried to get a Moab Pow-wow together a while back, but seems like life got in the way for everyone. depending on timing, location, PTO, etc, i could be in.
  16. a local place swapped a lexus v8 into one of those and did a mild lift. much drool. many wow.
  17. Just as the title states, are there any differences between the tail light harnesses on an XJ and an MJ? been to numerous junkyards and havent found a single MJ, but I'm just about tripping over the XJs (and ZJs). can i grab one from the same year range and call it good?
  18. flights are booked. looked into a few museums and such in the area, but everything closes at 5.
  19. super clean 91 on some nice JK moabs. interior could use work, but DAMN is that a good lookin truck http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/131279211113?item=131279211113&lgeo=1&vectorid=229466
  20. "$1800" truck + $200 paint job + some other parts that were lying around = $3800, duh.
  21. i don't think that 'll calm her down; it'll probably just piss her off more!
