  1. its really up to you man, your truck needs to reflect you, so sorry but yeah...
  2. i was upside down welding the body of a dirt track car in shop and when i went to stand up put my hand directly on the molting metal that dripped down onto the floor, burned a literal hole into my hand, inch deep, inch wide, and the metal then solidified and fell out, i was left with a 3rd degree burn into my hand, docs freaked out, haha, but yeah it freakin sucked...

  4. dude awesome truck, seriosuly, I'm thinking of going OD green and doing the words and the flares and stuff black, and painting a black star on the hood, like old army jeep style lol, but really man awesome truck, really dig it, good job
  5. awesome man, i might end up having to make my own skid plates lol, and i should be getting something in the next week or so, so keep an eye on my page lol, but again man, nice work, what you gonna paint it?
  6. i live with fam till i leave for boot camp, so any money i make is extra money,
  7. you can also get wheel spacers, they will push the tires out further from the body, giving you a wider and in my opinion cooler stance, and you can fit 32's with no rubbing
  8. i live with fam, but i pay for my vehicle. so thats where my money goes... that and my girl hahaha
  9. hoping so, i usually heal fast, tore my maniscus in my knee two years ago, docs said i wouldnt walk 100% for a year and a half, and i had to do therapy for 9 months, and all that crap, i said screw that and went on being me, walked 110% within 5 months, haha, my mom says i got the healing of a god. lol. but i should be good, no need to worry, still gonna work on my jeep and have some fun being me.
  10. everytime i try to use it, it just will not go through, doesnt do the loading symbol or anything, it just will not work, any ideas?
  11. hey ive seen you post before and you seem really educated on the MJ components and what not, so i have a question, i know my rear is a dana 35, does that auto make my front a dana 30? or is there a way i can check, just need to know the front

I'm getting a suspension lift kit, and the options are like d30/d35, or stuff like that... but i doubt it really matters, i know the rear is d35, and the front will only be shocks and springs, so i doubt it will change anything, not to mention I'm pretty sure it is original, nothing was really changed on my manche when i got it, mud wasnt even washed from underneath...

How big a lift? If you go over 2", you want more than just shocks and springs for the front.

Also, some places will tell you that an XJ lift will work on an MJ. This is only true for the front. Make sure you get MJ springs for the rear.

i got a 3" lift, and when we put it on it ended up actually lifting her 4.5"... weird right? lol. but yeah, my bud before me who owned it upgraded a bnuch of stuff underneath, i just need to relocate the trackbar and I'm good. well also need an alignment and new tires, but you know what i mean

  12. wow man, seriosuly nice, absolutely beautiful truck, good job man, congrats, also you live in GA?
  13. well here ya go yall, i managed to find an odd job two days ago moving logs with my buddies uncle. worked for 14 hours in 90 degree weather, and i loved it, got 200$ bucks for it, but also broke my arm. log feel outta the truck onto my forearm. but because of that, my buddies uncle is paying the rest for a kit i found, 3" kit. so there ya go.
  14. the links are digging back because of the lift, so right now the sway bar is disconnected and i pulled it forward a bit, so where the links are straight up. Then i just used a bunjee cord to hold it up out of the way... not ideal but it works for now. so I'm just gonna get the relocation bracket and mount it up more towards the front and itll be fine. also i got shocks today but i found a lift package that is only 65 dollars more for 4 shocks, 2 coil springs, 2 add a leafs for the back, and an extender for the brake line. so I'm gonna take the shocks back and get a refund and then get the package, only 3 inch, and aint gotta worry about all the other stuff to fix. to all the people complaining before... HAPPY NOW!? haha jk, but yeah, found it last minute and its on sale and got a discount code, so sweet lol, I'm also going to pull-a-part tomorrow, and the flea market and see if i can get anything useful. so ill keep yall updated. also gonna take the shackles off the back of my truck when i get the package :) oh and also my mother is being really weird and is gonna buy me brand new BF goodrich all terrains in either 31's or 32's. will 32's fit good with a 3" lift?
  15. hey, this may sound dumb, but do you guys know of any UCA and LCA that i could pull off another vehicle and use on the MJ, mines got about a 3-3.5 inch lift... I know this may sound dumb, but most people on here don't understand how little money i have, all the parts i am getting is either cause my friends owe me from bets, or me working 18 hours a day moving logs with my buddys dad... and can only do that about once every 2 weeks, and don't make a ton, so most stuff I'm having to junkyard... so please anything would help...
  16. so I'm curious, how do longer sway bar end links help? wouldnt longer ones make it dig in more? or can someone post a pic and explain, cause I'm just confused, i trust yall, just confused..
  17. yeah thats what i heard... but for now its my only option you know... until i can get the longer sway bar links... i guess it helps a bit that all my buds and even my girl say I'm a grandpa driver haha, i stay far away from cars and don't speed or nothing, don't take interstate, and rarely take highways, I'm a backroad guy... haha, but thank you mnkyboy
  18. how is using sway bar links off an f350 "ratty parts". they are longer, fit, and are a good switch over that isnt to expensive, I'm sorry i can't just go out an buy all new parts like everyone else... and I'm really not trying to sound like an a$$ or anything. I'm a 20 year old waiting to leave for boot camp, nobody wants to hire a guy whos gonna leave in 4 months... so i have to work with what i can, I'm sorry
  19. i can imagine... not fun on any vehicle let alone a jeep, and only makes it crazier on a manche, but hey that just makes it all the more meaningful after its in... hey would you mind helping me and mary out... if you could go to my page and read my post about what i did with the sway bar, any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated, also keep up the good work man, really looking forward to seeing what your gonna do with Georgia, btw i love the name, I'm a GA boy, and i feel honored to have your beautiful rig named after my great state :)
  20. thats awesome man, that worked out in a weird way i guess haha... also idk if your planning on doing a paint job or anything, but if i were you and you do a paint job, id stick to the same style, same colors and all and keep the comanche chief thing, so awesome, really man, your truck is one of my biggest inspirations, yours and bluecomanche88's are the two top ones for me.
  21. so just a quick update, as you know the sway bar ends were digging into the springs bad, and i didnt wanna blow anything out, so i disconnected the sway bar (hold on before you start going OMG!) i drove around a bit, hit different pavements, bumps, and all, took turns, and went up and down huge incline hills and IMHO it rides way better, much smoother, no digging into the springs, more flex when i went offroad... i have seen nor encountered any issues as of yet, the reason i am posting this is to see what yall think, anyone else disconnected their sway bars? and if so what do yall think? i personally love it, and in case anyone asks i am an extremely safe driver (cautious mother taught me to drive and was in a complete totaling wreck when i was 18, so made me more cautious) but when going round turns (slowly as i always do, and fast on two occasions to get out of the orielly's parking lot during FORT GORDON getting off work rush hour traffic) it handled amazing, actually better then when it was hooked up, and even before the lift which caused this issue in the first place. but yeah, please reply and let me know opinions and or thoughts, thank you

  23. oh sorry, i saw the acu bottoms in the pic and assumed, but you know what they say about assuming, makes and @$$ of u and me haha, jk, but thank them for me if you would or can, and still though awesome comanche man, i can honestly say i have never seen a lifted truck as clean as that, not like washed clean but just as sharp and precise, and i live in southern ga haha, but wow man, just exceptional
  24. no, I'm mean when you you are riding, do the tires ever scrub up inside the well or is the clearence good enough that it doesnt rub at all?
