it is, got some help from some other members here, and they helped me... first time with a jeep, and first time with a lifted vehicle... but thanks man -
oh dang, that must have set you back a few thousand pennies hahaha

I'm not trying to be annoying here, I'm just trying to learn for future reference and so that i may be more helpful to others myself, also love to learn and think, but if that were the case, and it is indeed the trackbar, then why isnt the other tire pulled inward aswell. I'm thinking that if it was the trackbar and that controls the side to side movement of the wheels themselves then as one goes further out, the other should move further in. but that is not the case with my MJ however. The driver side wheel is further out, while the passenger side wheel is the same as before if not a milimeter or two out aswell, but surely not inward.
-
so i lifted my MJ about 4-4.5" and everything else is fine, no shacking, not bouncing weird, no death wobble, but yesterday i did notice that the driver side front tire sticks out further then the rest, out as in to the left. i havent done an allignment yet, will as soon as possible and won't be driving till then unless NEED to. i thought it was just the flex since my sway bar is disconnected at the moment, but i moved the truck several time to even ground, and un-even ground, aswell as un-even on both sides, and while on even ground it didnt stick out as far, it was still out there further. this worries me as i don't know what the deal is. any help or ideas? greatly appreciated, thank you

nice man, that should help, make sure that was the only leak though, i know thats where mine is leaking from, but it aint bad at all... lol. i mean any leak is bad, but its one that is barely noticable unless you are looking for it 100%. also those wheel are nice, they would be better black IMHO but yeah haha

yeah, thats what ended up happening, my buds finally stopped being a-holes and helped me out, we got it lifted, and found out i paid 265$ for a 4.5" now 3" hahaha, and the guy before me had already put an ext. brake line and diff control arms and everything except sway bar, haha, it was an actual 3" lift kit, but when we put it on, it lifted it 4.2 so we all laughed... now to get it alligned and new tires, hopefully soon, i aint gonna be riding it around without those... aint safe. -
i got my kit for 265$ today, and I'm trying to put it on and its kicking my a$$, may take me like 3 days to get it on,

why you gotta insult rednecks? lol -
yeah i can see that, but then again it is way way way cheaper haha, its really up to what you wanna do, if you aint planning on going crazy crawling then the drop brackets should be good, but if you going crazy crawling then id suggest the long arms. but thats just me.

i got a full kit on the way, springs for front, AAL for rear, all four shocks, break extension, and new u-bolts, I'm pretty sure the new center bolt for the leafs will come with it but if not they arnt expensive. and the whole kit was only 265$ all other 3" kits were over 340$ so I'm happy :) -
about the drop brackets, i heard while they are cheaper and pretty good, they actually impede you offroad, since they lessen ground clearance. i don't think it would be to much, but idk... only what i heard.

jimoshel... That was hilarious, just like something me and my buds would have done in the shop hahaha

sounds sexy lol, OH AND OH YEAH!!! I JUST ORDERED MY LIFT KIT!!!!! hopefully it won't take to long to get here, also has anyone done an add a leaf in the rear, and if so, does anyone have pics or a vid of how to do it on an MJ? or atleast how to drop the leafs? thanks. -
awesome man, me and my buds would have way way WAY to much fun there. haha, but yeah I'm ordering my lift at lunch today, only a 3 inch but i mean for only 265$ its unreal, all other 3 inch i find are min 340$... and 4.5 is around 480$ up. and 480$ is a crap one without all the other stuff you need, so I'm getting the 3" for now, and will upgrade after boot camp. what all you needing to get still?

hahaha thats awesome, i live in GA and we usually have some good mud, but mostly good ole fashion GA red clay, fun as heck, but difficult to tame, and even harder to clean out. But soooooooooooo worth it, if you can tame the clay pit near my house then you have brag rights for a year or so haha. right now its been so dang dry aint nothing for mud round here, which is good cause my suspension is disassembled at the moment.
-
oh no man, my paint job is rattled on, and i have no problems with it, hit mud pits all the time, and i use a power washer to clean her off, and never had an issue with paint, you do it good and youll be good, haha, not to mention much cheaper, much much much much cheaper, but that is if you can do it good... my buds and me have been doing it for years, thinking about starting to see if people want us to do it, and have them pay us haha, but yeah rattle can jobs are fine if done right. also the reason i asked about muddin, do you want the mud to show well after you go or mainly hide... the white will show it and be like bragging rights, while the green will actually hide alot of it and not make it seem as dirty, same goes with most darker colors, especially blue for some reason, mud on darker blues is like a 3 on a scale of 1-10 while mud on a green would be about a 5-6, and white would be a 10. i personally like my mud to show, its fun to me and i really like it, but thats me
-
it does look good man, and are you wanting to go through mud or anything like that with the manche?
