I'm in extreme northern Dauphin county/lower Schuylkill county if that counts as Northeast PA.

This was probably the best forward I ever got on my phone..... Eddie wanted desperately to have sex with this really really hot girl at work...but she was dating someone else. One day Eddie got so desperate that he went to her and said, "I'll give you $100 if you let me have sex with you." The girl looked at him shocked, and then said, "NO!" Eddie said, "I'll be real fast, I'll throw the money on the floor, you bend down and I'll finish by the time you've picked it up." She thought about this for a moment and said that she would consult with her boyfriend. So she called him and explained the situation. Her boyfriend says, "Ask him for $200, and pick up the money really fast. He won't even be able to get his pants down." She agreed and accepts the proposal. 30 minutes go by and the boyfriend is still waiting for his girlfriend's call. Finally, after 45 minutes the boyfriend calls and asks what happened. Still breathing hard, she managed to reply, "THE F***** HAD ALL QUARTERS!!!" :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

I'm with him :D Me too! :rotfl2:

Dakota tail lights do look very similar to MJ tail lights, but they are NOT the same and are NOT a direct swap by any means. You can make anything fit, but it'd be much easier just to find MJ ones.

You'd want the NP242 for the full time 4wd. All MJ's came with the NP231 so you'd have to find one out of an XJ and swap it in. As for the rear driveshaft, I don't know why you couldn't use the old one, but I'm not really sure on that one...I'll let some more experienced people answer that one. :rotf:

http://forum.rigsofrods.com/index.php?topic=19860.0 Download the .zip file and simply place it in: My Documents\Rigs of Rods\packs But when I right click and "save link as" a download error pops up and says an unknown error has occurred, please try again. :(

I'm having trouble downloading new vehicles too! :headpop:

The dealership was in Millersburg, which is about 45 minutes north of Harrisburg.

:agree: Wow......and, uh......Wow. Selling the chrome rear bumper? Seriously interested. Sorry Wahoo, I'm gonna be replacing my bumper with the chrome one, and I do like the idea of hanging that bedside as a piece of art. :brows: Still cannot believe I found all this stuff....but sure as heck glad I did. :chillin:

Before you guys ask about if I'm going to sell this stuff....i don't really know what I'm going to do with everything just yet. So the story starts a couple of months ago when the local jeep/ford dealer went out business with the decline of the auto market. Today they had a final auctioning off of all their inventory in their warehouses which held thousands and thousands of parts and tools all of which had to be sold off today. Me and my dad went looking for the very few things we needed to finish the MJ, but we weren't very optimistic about finding anything of use to us. Well..............were we wrong! Things were going for dirt cheap, $15 for a stack of 5 Cherokee hoods still in the box, $40 for a stack of fenders, and boxes upon boxes of miscellaneous parts and pieces going for around $5 a box. I'll let the following pictures speak of the Comanche goodies we found.......... Yes your eyes aren't deceiving you, those are TWO factory MJ step bumper, one chrome, one black. $27 for the chrome one, and $50 for the black one plus those other three bumpers. They both came with the mounting brackets, wiring for the license plate, and bulbs. The three other bumpers we got with the black MJ one. And if two factory MJ step bumpers isn't enough of a score for one day........... Yes that is a longbed driver's side bedside. Has one small dent in it, a bit of surface rust, but other than that is in perfect condition. The worst of the surface rust on it. If you can't read that date, its 7-8-86....this thing was sitting in a warehouse for 23 years. As far as what we paid for all of this stuff it was a huge steal IMO. $185 for everything. $95 for the bedside, $77 for all those bumpers including the MJ ones. Would have gotten more stuff there but ran out of room in the back of the MJ. :fool:

Another Fuel Pump/Fuel Pump Relay Question
MJ300 replied to warf90's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
The ground is behind the drivers side tail light and it has been an issue for me too. What I did was run 12V directly to the pump with a battery and two wires. If the pump runs with 12V directly at the connector, then your problem is more than likely the ground. What I'd do is run a ground wire directly from the frame and check to see if your getting 12V at the connector, if so your good to go and the pump SHOULD run fine. If it doesn't run with 12V the pump is bad. Fuel pumps suck..........trust me. :headpop: -
I could really use that pair of chrome mirrors and all that molding on the body instead of cutting my own!!! :headpop: This country is really eff'ed up! :fs1:
-
Yes I got my truck back a few days ago, but there are much more important tasks to be done before the flares go back on such as putting the gas tank back in and getting her running. I'll probably start a build thread tonight and just watch the drool pour out of your guys' mouth! :brows:
-
When I first started driving i wanted nothing to do with a stick cause i didn't want to learn. But my dad forced me to learn and I was a natural!!! Now i REALLY wish my MJ wasn't an automatic.......way too boring of a drive. :shake: Which is exactly why I'm going to convert to an AX15 someday
-
I emailed that guy about his truck because he is located only 15 mins away from me, we exchanged numbers and are hoping for a meet and greet sometime soon. Seems like a nice guy and another MJ lover (and a CC member too).
-
Not really, that danged buzzer was all that i could hear! :fs1: I'm 99% sure that the pump is fine, thats half the reason I took the tank out...to put a new pump in. And yes I got the right one, was a PITA but it's the right one. Anything else to check??
-
Did you cycle the key before pressing the valve to build pressure? (if any) Rob L. Like turning the key on and off right before it starts? I tried that 3 or 4 consecutive times then checked it again with the same results.
-
Ok, I just tried that valve on the fuel rail and some ran out of it but it didn't "shoot" out at me just a nice trickle when its fully depressed. Good thing, bad thing???
-
1. Yes I filled the tank. ;) 2. What the heck does cycing the key mean? 3. Don't know if I heard the pump or not, wasn't really listening for it, but will make sure to do so next time. 4. Where's this valve at on the fuel rail? Thanks
-
I just re-installed my gas tank after a month or two being out of the truck and I just tried to start it tonight and it wouldn't start. It turns over fine but it just never fires up. All the fuel lines are connected properly, I just think there might not be any fuel in the lines? Any other ideas as to what it could be??? :dunno:
-
Sorry guys they're still sitting in the garage waiting to be put on. ;) I'm getting my whole truck painted, and once that's done in a week or two, I'll make sure to post up pics of them on.
