  1. Yep, remember now..........
  2. Hmm. Must have mixed up this 392 with that AMC Eagle with the Pentastar logo CD player I had. :hmm:
  3. I think it'll look just fine in there Min. It even has the ground output on the correct pin for my power antenna when you turn it on. Pure PnP. The other two Jeep CD players from this era (one for the Wrangler, the other a pull-out version that I've never seen) don't have the power antenna output.
  4. My 91 had both worm drive adjustable clamps and constant pressure clamps on the fuel supply line rubber connections. I replaced them all with adjustable fuel pressure clamps to prevent further leaks. Damn Doc - lighten up man. No one's picking on you, everyone's just trying to help.
  5. Mike, I was first made aware of these by our buddy Gianni. I didn't even know they existed until he showed me. Hopefully he'll chime in.
  6. Thanks to Adam (Strokermjcomanche) for alerting me to this gem on Ebay. I picked it up the other day for $13.50 + shipping. It looks much better than the pic and was advertised as "untested". After removing and repairing a wiring hack on it's harness I fired it up on the bench yesterday and it works great on AM, FM, and CD. I ordered a reverse harness so I can break out the wiring and will be fully testing all the functions and cleaning it up before installing. I've been looking for one of these XJ-specific factory CD players for years! I've heard it was an $300 option back in the day. Again, kudos to Adam for the heads-up.
  7. It looks like the p/n on the tag is 53005416. If so and it hasn't been altered sometime in it's life, it is a limited slip 3.07 axle.
  8. How do you know? Did you open it up? Can you read the full 8 or 10 digit p/n on the tag? If it is a factory limited slip axle, for sure the LS clutches are worn out as the pics look like the axle cover has never been off. When you regear, be sure to replace the clutches also.
  9. Whatever floats your boat.
  10. When I picked up my truck at the detailers last Saturday night, there were two different guys asking if I wanted to sell. Plus there were three hand-written messages from people that had stopped in during the day asking me to call them. I didn't. It's flattering I guess, but it's kind of a PITA getting gas or coming out of a store sometimes with all the questions.
  11. That's why they make fuel injection hose clamps. They don't come loose. Use them on every rubber hose connection on the fuel lines.
  12. You could always install the 97+ washer tank inside the fender well and free up some room. :brows:
  13. The first to show up back in the day at NAVWEPSTA had an armored steel shell, at least 1/4" thick, that surrounded the interior personnel compartment. They were heavy and slow, and the jarheads, who handled the security duties at all Naval weapons stations then because nobody did it better, hated them. It got tiresome listening to the bitching at the club. The auto trannys were especially funky and breakdowns were frequent. These were among the first batch the military fielded, and they had teething problems, most all later corrected I guess.
  14. AFAIK Mike they are legal in all 50 states. They are the 5"x7" Truck-lite 27450C LEDs. http://www.truck-lite.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&productId=92027
  15. SI! Thanks to you mate.
  16. Looking for the black under-dash piece now.
  17. I think the OP is asking about aftermarket headers, not stock exhaust components. Correct me if I'm wrong.
  18. Every HO header I've seen has an O2 sensor bung.
  19. These are the so-called "Neon" injectors, Bosch 0280155703. They are designed to operate at 21.5lb/hr @ 39psi & 24.0lb/hr @ 49psi, and are for OBD2 vehicles with a fixed regulator operating at 39 psi w. vacuum. I have a set of these I'm going to throw in the stroker, and also have an adjustable FPR that can operate at 39psi and 49psi (w/o vacuum). I'm running stock OBD2 injectors now at 39psi w. vac. The 703 injectors are way too much for a stock Renix 31psi / 39psi regulator.

  21. Wax and sealant, touching up all the black (flares, rubber, etc.), paint chip fixes, interior canopy and upholstery, rugs etc. and undercarriage steaming is ~$150.
  22. Everybody forgets to mention the carrier break killer - thick gears. :P And I've never paid more than $300 labor for a regear. Guess it depends where you live....................
