Well it finally warmed up enough so that I could take out the thermostat. You guys were right, it was stuck open. Thank goodness that it was still under warranty. I now have a heater! Now just to figure out why it only blows air through the defroster........

Thanks for the heads up If I had a lift i would do it, but currently I don't. But thanks for the tips though, might come in handy later down the road. :thumbsup:

Yeah they are I just saw them last time I was there. Didn't have the money then, and I am going tomorrow, and figured Id grab them.

There is a rolled YJ at the salvage yard with some nice Rancho 5000 shocks on it (I think 5000) Would they be of any use without a lift kit? Just wondering because I could get them cheap, didn't know If i could use them or not. Thanks In advance

Do you think that the XJ rear bumper with the guards be modified to fit? I don't know If that is the place you are wanting to protect.

I think It maybe a vacuum, but I don't know where. Sometimes it idles high, other times it won't. The heater will work good and then it will stop, then work. Brakes have to be pumped in order to get full pressure. Ill have to check the coolant again, I checked the thermostat, seems to be working. And what is "burping" the coolant??

Cherokee's have different leaf springs and perchs, they are the same in the front though.

I know what you mean by that. Have had a few parts like that too.

I was always told to just tap it and sometimes it would work. I can't remeber what else to do to test it. Oh yeah forget about the injector :doh:

I either want to say the fuel injectors or the MAP snesor. That would be my best guess.

Clogged in injectors maybe. Is it just on start up and goes away after driving? Or just when it is idling?

Would this also cause the brakes and heater to not work? checked all the hoses, they are ok. Heater gets hotter when the RPM is high, and the brakes I have to pump a few times to get max pressure. Otherwise it sinks to the floor, then works. As for the short trips, Ive been driving to Springfield a lot, about 1 hr one way. Almost every weekend. And drive about 20 miles a day.

Ah great, I hope not. Ill run a compression test tomrrow hopefully.

Trying to figure out why ny heater isnt working the best and why my brakes have no pressure, come to find white sludge in my PCV and hose. Its pretty nasty, never seen it before. Anyone have an Idea on what it is? Thanks

Just kidding, but if I ever get rid of mine ill tell you. (Ive also seen a few pop up around here pretty cheap) Ill see if I can find one someday.

FYI, I just disagreeing with what was in bold. Have any more pics of that intake? Looks interesting Have you ever seen the cowl intake mod? I don't believe I have.

Does a front skid plate from a XJ fit on a MJ? I found a XJ skid plate and didnt know of they wold fit. I would think they would since everything on the front is the same. thinking about getting it. Thanks in advance

I'm on the search too. Right now I'm looking into bigger injectors. I hear you can take a 4.0 throttle body and out it on a 2.5, havent tried it yet. I also think that switching to a electric fan would help. Unless you want to spend like $3000 to get a turbo kit for it :brows:

That sucks to see that you have to wait. had to do the same before. Hope it gets there soon. Ive been having fun in the snow here. Got like 5 people to do doughnuts.

Will you be willing to put some pics up of them being made?? I want to do this but for another kind of lights that you can no longer get. If you cold show how you make the rubber molds it would be greatly appreciated.
