Well, hopefully I can get the parts from 87Warrior soon. because what I am wanting to do is get the parts for 4x4 then while thats in getting put on, put the lift on it so i can put the ravines and new tires on it. I'm gonna see if I can get the drive shaft from a cherokee when i go to get some doors. All I can say is soon very soon early in the summer, glad your gonna help me, my dad doesn't think that it is easy, he just tells me to sell it and buy a 4x4. But I have connected with this truck, all the stuff I have put into it, blood, sweat, and tears. Its not going anywhere. Funny part though my dad got jealous that I got a comanche, so now he is buying one Wednesday for $900 hopefully, plus we getting a pair of 98 cherokee doors for $30. In good condition too. Now that they truck is running up to par, I can get stuff that I actually want. Let the customizing begin..........

I'm pretty sure this has happened to someone or will. some one might have already said this but oh well. If you get locked out of your engine compartment take a screw driver and take the grill off. then reach up and find the latch and pull on it to pop the hood. happened to me today, thought it might happen to someone else.

Where did you find it at?

My cab lights in my mj are weird, they won't turn on when the door opens but when I move them up or down they will turn on and stay on. I don't know if it is the wiring or what. Isn't the light suppose to come on when the door is open and the light is facing up? Mine will just stay on 24/7 If i leave it like that and when it is facing down too. Thanks for the help in advance.

:agree: I'm putting a glasspack on mine sometime soon, they sound great, I would suggest Cherry Bombs. they make a nice sound are fairly priced in my opinion. -

Strange Power Steering Issue
TheDirtyJeep401 replied to SBpunk's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Only thing I would be thinking of is either the lines are pinched or the pump isn't working. Thats what was wrong with mine. -
On mine it was the throttle cable, it would stick and it would have a very high rpm, to where i had to stomp on the pedal in order to get it to stop. might want to look at that.

Bell housing I believe is different, Input shaft I thought was the same but I could be wrong.

89 2.5L 2Wd Not Starting
TheDirtyJeep401 replied to reprod89's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Plug wires and distributer cap possibly part of it. don't know about the low compression maybe piston rings. -
Yeah, it did. then as soon as that got replaced, I had to get a new water pump :fs1: But its not that bad since this weekend I am replacing the fan shroud and the radiator anyway. The water pump still works but for some reason it squeals really bad. Basically I will be replacing the whole entire cooling system. Just makes me mad, that money was going toward the 3 inch lift. I have no choice but to replace it all. At least it will be up and running better when I'm done.

Do the doors just swap right out pretty Much? or do you have to mod them a bit?
