  3. Well took a look at my bumper the other night, and I just might be using the fey mounting kit....My stock brackets are all bent up......Probably because I backed into my dads truck at 45 mph...don't worry the only thing that was harmed was the bumper, and the stock brackets .......I may be able to bend them back into shap, but I don't think it is worth the work..... good thing parts train couldn't cancle my order :rotfl2: :fool: :hmm:
  4. I was looking for a spray to make them multiply.....If trucks could reproduce i would have a baby mj facory :chillin: Just put a bunch of stem cells next to it so you grow another one:      Great idea ....Now to find some stem cells :???: :dunce:
  5. If you found a bare wire it may have grounded out and fried something somewhere....... Leave the ignition on and start wiggling wires around.....thats how I found mine.....The bad wire looked fine from the outside, but the wire inside was toast......You will find it its just a matter of time  Also check the relays....does you battery have a charge???
  6. I was looking for a spray to make them multiply.....If trucks could reproduce i would have a baby mj facory :chillin:
  7. Check All of your fusable links, when mine died it was a wire under the hood that i lucked out amd found after installing an new ignition switch, dash harness.....check where all your relays are. Those green wires are tricky little buggers :dunno:
  8. Mine does the same thing on start up, revs high like 2,000 rpm for like 2 or 3 seconds.......just thought it was a jeep thing...huh never really bothered me.....now it sorta does :fs1: way to go now I have to fix it !!!!!!!!
  9. Wow bumper #2 wheeling bumper   the sh*t that is sweet well done
  10. Sound pretty good. I have a "custom" exhaust on my mj.......I took the cat off and pounded out all the goodies, cut the muffler off and welded a cherry bomb on after the cat then put a turn down before my rear axle ....sounds fantastic, but my mpg suffered because my foot got alot heaver due to the noise :brows:
  11. It does have a 3 year warranty :smart: So if it bends in half when I'm towing a jet ski they will replace it or els  :fs1:
  12. Awesome looking mj Reminds me of mine............What tranny do you have???? Mine has the pukegoat :ack: :ack: havent had any major problems with it yet though (fingers crossed)
  13. Them is some strong words bubby, but I am cheep so......yea The price is right, pluss I'm not going to be towing much ever so no worries :dunno: :chillin:
  14. Called partstrain to cancle brackets, and she told me that they will need to be shipped back from my house when they arrive because my order was already in the shipping process........ :fs1: Oh well......... just have to call them when I get them to ship them back...... I have to eat the shipping though :headpop: again Oh well :chillin: thanks for all the advise guys this site is the bomb :agree: so I will get my 42.00 back after a while.... that bumper does look sweet though  :brows: :clapping: should be here next week sometime Ps. those brackets do look really cheesy :ack: On another note I ordered yj front brake lines and a dakota rear line for my manchy :brows: Does anyone have any pics of how they bolt up???? Just direct or is there some mods that need to be done :dunno: thanks again guys
  15. None. That is the right part number, but it is not needed. The stock brackets are much stronger, and those won't work (or would not for me) without removing the stock brackets, which actually lined up just fine, if you drill 2 new holes. It was actually easier than using the "proper" brackets. WAY overpaid. I don't knw that JC Whitney still sells it, but Amazon has it for $117 with free shipping. How did you pay $170? Even with the mounting kit, that seems really high. http://www.amazon.com/Westin-63000-Fey- ... 657&sr=8-4 Well Its a little late to tell me I don't need the kit, because I already ordered it....... Oh well ......And to answer you question the mounting bracket was $42.00 +11.00 For shipping that = $53.00 + $117.00for the bumper 117.00+53.00= 170  preschool math buddy , but you bumper looks really nice though, I can't wait
  16. Whats wrong with black??? It'll match my wheels, and trim, and front bumper ect ect, plussssssss I'm really cheep :brows: I will let you all know how she goes on...and yes I will post some pics of the install......... :chillin:
  17. If I'm not mistaken they are AWESOME tires maybe Michelin 35x12.50x16 :dunno:  Its my dream truck     :chillin:
  18.      So cool :agree:  best one on there :chillin:
  19. Thank you Sir  that is the best price I have ever seen on that bumper and free shipping to boot, however the mounting bracket is not for a mj on amazon......I did manage to find that for $42.** and like $11.00 shipping on partstrain All in all a good buy i think, and I think it will look really good
  20. Very cool color, wish my mj was that shade of green :brows:
  21. Just ordered fey black dimond step bumper from amazon, and a fey bumper mounting kit from partstrain.com for a total of $170.43 shipped .......I think that is pretty good :brows:  let me know what you think
  22. Ok I figured it out it is part #97900
  23. Do you have this bumper????? Is It for the MJ?????? or is it universal with the mounting kit?????? The one Hornbrod linked to is the same one your first two or three links led to. It's the Fey (brand name) universal mini-pickup bumper. All that changes to adapt to each vehicle is the brackets, which is whey they sell them separately. I had to do a bit of grinding on the brackets to get them to clear the rear pan but aside from that they are fine. It's a functional bumper, but moderately ugly. I find myself looking at the more streamlined bumpers on Rangers and Dakotas and wondering how well or how badly one of those would fit on an MJ. Ok I'm goning to get the westen bumper, which mounting bracket do i need to get ????????
  24.     Ill drink a couple of beers in honor of this beautiful beast tonight  :beerhead: amazing :agree:
