    Yay finally!

Daylight savings time finally kicked in, now I can finally goto bed. I hate having to stay up to 2/3 am each time I have to change the clocks.
  2. You will need the 97+ bumper brackets as well.
  3. Why not just use a junkyard setup off of an XJ and bolt that on? Would be a little more work but would be a way nicer EFI setup.
  4. Pictures bring it home:: http://www.boston.com/bigpicture/2011/0 ... japan.html I have a friend who used to live in Natori City, I'm guessing he is glad he moved back to Canada.
  5. http://www.cnn.com/2011/WORLD/asiapcf/03/11/japan.quake/index.html?hpt=T1&iref=BN1 holy carp! Think its Mothra?
  6. Damm that frame is rusty!
  7. For a dodge ram you will need to look at 1993 and older for a passenger side drop dana 60. Why the passenger side drop 60? drivers side are much more common.
  8. You are wrong. The picture that Sir Sam posted is a Commander, not a Liberty. Sir Sam performed some trickery! He's a witch, burn him!
  9. Supposedly the 87-89 could all come with the Dana 44. This is what gets reported around the internet all the time. In practice I think everybody only ever sees them in 87 XJs(myself included). But supposedly they could come in 88s and 89s as well. I keep looking, sometimes I find an 88 or an 89 missing the rear end, so maybe those had the 44 before someone pulled it, but if I ever find another 44 in an 88 or 89 I'll believe it myself.

    credit score

Ya I do this every now and then, every couple of times I pay the $10 to see my score. Never seen anything bad before, but its worthwhile to check every so often since you can do it free now.

    credit score

Only thing to make sure about is that it gets cleared with all three credit reporting companies. You can get in a situation where you get it cleared with one, only to have the other two sell that "information" back to the other one and it comes back on yours. Credit, and credit reporting, have to be one of the most unfair consumer practices out there, the fact that a private company holds the keys to "credit" which in todays world is such an important thing, gives me chills. Me? Well I don't have a particularly good credit score, I have 2 credit cards, a mortgage, and student loans. Never been late on any payments, but at least right now in my life I have a large debt/income ratio, which hurts my credit. Back in the mid 90's my parents had to fight the credit man. The home mortgage company they were with sold their mortgage to another company, no big deal, same terms apply, but now a new company will get paid. Well they started paying the new company, but the old company started send collection notices. So basically they were paying their mortgage, but they got all sorts of bad things on their credit report from it. This was also back in the mid 90's when it wasn't so easy to dispute and get things removed, then when they would get stuff cleared with one another one would just sell the info back to the other company, and they would have to repeat the process.
  12. Man, I have nightmares about working on the those columns and its been ten years since I did.
  13. For the Win.
  14. Superior muscle control FTW.
  15. thanks for the offer, but I actually have a good photo that I took from my last flip jeep, I just haven't added it. Right now I need a good ZJ canyon picture, a guy sent me one of his, but it was all dirty so it was kinda like.......eh, I'll wait. No reason to goto the trouble of cropping the photo, resizing, uploading, editing the page etc, unless I've got something good to work with.
  16. I've never really played with macro so I decided to bust out the lens while taking some other photos tonight: http://colorado4wheel.com/images/misc/kj_BCM/bcm6.JPG Somehow I thought I was getting better while take photos, but these seem worse to me, I guess I shouldn't over think it. http://colorado4wheel.com/images/misc/kj_BCM/bcm12.JPG http://colorado4wheel.com/images/misc/kj_BCM/bcm13.JPG http://colorado4wheel.com/images/misc/kj_BCM/bcm14.JPG http://colorado4wheel.com/images/misc/kj_BCM/bcm15.JPG http://colorado4wheel.com/images/misc/kj_BCM/bcm16.JPG http://colorado4wheel.com/images/misc/kj_BCM/bcm17.JPG http://colorado4wheel.com/images/misc/kj_BCM/bcm18.JPG
  17. I'm mostly posting this so the google bots will crawl this post and then find the new information on my website: Jeep Cherokee information page: http://colorado4wheel.com/content/jeep_ ... eedom.html 1997-2001 Jeep Cherokee Fuse panel diagram: http://colorado4wheel.com/images/misc/fusepanel.jpg Factory Jeep Wheels Guide: http://colorado4wheel.com/images/jeepwh ... index.html
  18. Made up a batch of neutral spirits, hopefully here in a week or so I will run those through a reflux still and get some super high ~90% spirits. It's bubbling away in the fermenter right now.
  19. Yuck what a terrible color.
  20. Donor engine for my yellow XJ.
  21. ya I didn't have any good batteries to start it with forever, plus I just didn't really feel like it. Gonna try to get out there more often to do this though, no reason to let it go that long. Now the 2.5 CRD in my MJ......that hasn't been started since it was tested at the factory in Italy over 10 years ago......
  22. Ya I kinda got distracted part way through. Man you shoulda seen the chickens run when I started that thing up, I don't think they were happy about that. They like to hang out underneath that thing during the day. Also, I think you need to turn down the volume.
  23. fsD8PKDbuAE Threw a battery in it, bled the air out of the filter head, then cranked it. Fired up after about 2 seconds of cranking. Still purring nice, gonna have to remember to start it up and run it a little more often until I get ready for the swap.
