  1. Some preview, more to come tomorrow:
  2. Are you sure that's how its speeled?
  3. What are you a moran? That's clearly where the mechanical fuel pump bolts to the engine, you know like this: I would say just replace your mechanical fuel pump to stop that leak and you should be good. (for those not clued in when the I6 did have a mechanical fuel pump it wasn't in that location)
  4. Hmm I take that back, I don't have that paint, thought it was a different color. I have PG8, not G8.
  5. These are kinda rare, but aren't that good looking IMO, and are kinda narrow. These can look good when cleaned up and painted nice. I don't care much for these: Ditch the ranger wheels, the inner hubcentric hole is slightly too small for the XJ/MJ. Also, check out the Jeep wheels guide for your future wheel reference: http://colorado4wheel.com/images/jeepwh ... index.html
  6. Sold Today today to a happy new owner!
  7. 2013 would be a new chassis for a grand cherokee? I highly doubt that. That would mean that the current WK2 would have been in production for only THREE model years (2010, 2011, 2012). I see no way that is happening. Look at the past chassis updates. ZJ 6 years 93-98 WJ 6 years 99-04 WK 5 years 05-09 KJ 6 years 02-07 No way that will be the model year date, to do so is just stupid when you have production facilities already paid for on one chassis. Its more likely it will be the same chassis but with a facelift, either way that article is just way to much speculation and should be taken with a boulder of salt.
  8. Ethanol is a crock and is popular in the corn states. The future of ethanol is best used as an additive in gasoline. The only people that really fill up with ethanol on a regular basis are the guys running high performance forced induction sports cars. Ethanol does great under those conditions because of the high octane level. Essentially they get government subsidized race fuel. Ethanol is a crock. If you really want to talk about alternative fuel think CNG. It's everywhere, its cheap, any SI engine can run it, its clean, its domestic.......T Boone Pickens got one thing right.......Natural Gas. Anyways, I'll get off my soap box now.
  9. The real question is what is the brand and line of paint this person is using? For a good looking paint base/clear is the way to go.

    Pizza vending:

Nope but I wanna try it.

    Pizza vending:

    NICE!
  12. Grab the r134 components from a newer XJ. (94-96) and bolt them in.
  13. there is no shortbed
  14. Ya screw that TEXAS state inspection.
  15. Still gonna need to do some filler and spray new base and clearcoat. I got some leftover green of that color from the XJ I bought this summer and lots of clear still........
  16. The motor mounts and radiator mounts from a 4.0 will bolt into a 87+ 2.5L
  17. knuckles are different. if you wanna upgrade your brakes IMO go with the WJ big brake/steering setup.
  18. lol got a better pic of the damaged area?
  19. Was saving that for you Sam. I figured with your magic touch and artistic talent that I could never get it as good as you could so when ya going to come down? Kill a couple, shoot the shet and get acquainted. Sounds like your trying to appeal to my vanity and get some free work outta me. :fs2:
  20. Do that little bit of body work on the right rear and it will help out the resale value quite a bit.
  21. Ya I basically finished up with my 01 WJ this past week, while its a nice enough ride around town I didn't like working on the WJ that much. I would rather be putting together an XJ.
  22. Guy wants too much money for it, no way that would sell for $1500 at my local auction like that. But if I got it for $500 I would be temped to replace the pillars and 1/4 panel, spray it, and call it good.
  23. I apologize. That posting was not in keeping with my typical behavior. I let our past arguments in different quorums cloud my judgment on what I posted here. Please understand that nearly every post I read from you directed my way comes off to me as some sort of attack, I try not to let it cloud what I post but in this case what you posted as your opinion annoyed me as unrealistic fact clouding the discussion.

  25. This shows what you really know and how much anyone should value your comments on the field. The "mods" are cheap and take minutes. :smart: Take the chip off your shoulder and move on already.
