Pete that looks like it says June 87 for the date right? Notice the MJ in question has a set of YJ gamblers on it, which by my count did not come as an option on the YJ untill 1991, just interesting that Jeep had castings for the wheels for years before deciding to put them into use in 91.....

Sticker is on the driver's side of the rear window. Either the window was transferred or the truck's been re-painted...? '88 is the correct year, I'm guessing re-paint. Now that you mention it, the paint on the inside of the bed did kind of look like at of repaint. The rest of the paint though looks factory, even on the inside of the doors and under trim etc. Maybe the rear window is a transplant. :dunno: Yeah, it's in good shape except for an antenna hole in the bumper cover. Can those be purchased new? If so, maybe I'll go back and get it. In your shoes I would grab it anyway, I have not seen one with metal that straight in a long time.

Natural gas man, best "alternative" fuel out there.

To bad Diesel is $4+ per gallon :hmm: and gas is 3.09 Ya, and when diesel costs 15% more per gallon and nets you 30% better fuel economy it still nets you a 15% increase in fuel economy. So you could be paying $10 a gallon for gas and $11.50 for diesel and the diesel will still be cheaper to run....... Gas cheaper = buy it more often. Diesel more expensive = buy it less often. what are the numbers for the diesel? i know the 4.7 is 14-19 mpg. then my next problem would be finding one.. 22-25 stock, more with an ECU tune and good driving habits.
