There is nothing you can switch between the two clusters to get the correct mileage. The only way is to have someone with a DRBIII reprogram it, so either Jeep, maybe the right indy mechanic, sometimes a locksmith will have one for key-related business.

well, I got another egg today! I didn't get one yesterday, though it seemed like she was hanging out under one of the cars like she was nesting, and I'm pretty sure I heard the egg song at one point yesterday.....wondering if she is already playing hide the egg with me. Well today I noticed she was doing the same thing, hanging out under the car like she wanted to lay. So I picked her up and put her in the nest box, she kinda scratched around and then got out and tried to get under the car again, so I picked her up, put her back in the nest box again, which she started checking out again. I decided this time to lock her in for a little while so if she wanted to lay she would be forced to use the nesting box, for awhile she was distressed and trying to get out, before kinda giving up and going back to the nesting box. I left her there for a half hour or so, and came back. Sure enough she was itchin to get out, and had laid an egg. Woohoo! Now I just gotta make sure to encourage her to lay in the nesting box, I hate playing "hide the egg" with chickens, they always find the craziest places to lay! And when you stop finding eggs one place a few days later you find a huge trove of them somewhere else!

hulu, nbc, abc etc let you watch online programs in HD, have to put up with some commercials. Every TV channel has a website, and lots of those websites allow you watch content online, in fullscreen, in HD. netflix also has a "watch online option"

Me too, because with the large space between the words I was waiting for a picture to load.

Gotta admit, the we went right back into that coup and gave that rooster what for! Didn't do it again! One thing I do with any dog I have: Take them by the jowls, get in their face and tell them: I RULE! OBEY ME! Works every time. Ever since then they obey my voice, and as I treat them like they are, in the animal kingdom, the love of my life, they are absolutely obedient. They get excited when I, their alpha male, wants them to be present. Course, may need a few refresher courses through 15 or so years of being together. Yup, my dog knows I am the alpha dog here. Continually being the alpha makes things easier, don't let them push you around....ever, seems like the worst behaved dogs are the ones that never get any real discipline.

I like the shell, wish I could find one.

Thats called getting flogged by a rooster haha. the big spurs on the back of their legs see to it that it hurts. ive sent a rooster across the coup for that several times.. wel i guess every time they did it to me lol. don't kick their head though (they die  ) just kick their chest and theyll eventually get scared and back down  One of the best ways to establish yourself on the rooster totem pole is to pick a rooster up, and carry it around, and if that doesn't work, carry them around upside down. Eventually they get the idea that you are the chicken at the top of the pecking order, and stop trying to flog you and just protect the girls. Alpha chicken, alpha dog, same thing.

Nope, not bad, but the odd shape makes it seem smaller.

Well one of the black sex links was checking out the nesting box today, and then was checking out some other places, even went and crawled up under the Z and was hanging out under there. Went back with a flashlight an hour later to see if she laid an egg, no dice, decided to check the nesting box in the coop and sure enough, one tiny, oddly shaped egg! First egg of the new chickens! It looks like 3 others are very close behind, at this rate it will only be a couple of days before I have breakfast!

Seemed to me that it would make sense to keep shop hours more like tues - fri, 10-7pm, sat 10-5. There are some businesses around here that operate that way(not shops though), but this way you are able to get more people in after normal hours. Its a change, and people wouldn't be able to drop a car off before work for example, but they would be able to drop it off in the evening after work. Seems like its a little bit of a change, but could lead to a better customer interaction.

Ah, do you sell eggs? You can buy chicks in bulk form the hatchery - one day when I have a place with land I plan on having a whole mess of chickens, and a whole lot of parts Jeeps floating around.

Not forgetting to lock the coop at night.

For the paint, I would recommend just painting the basement floor white. Go spend $20 on a 50 gal bucket of aspen white, get rollers, and paint it white, problem solved.

Nice, what breeds of layers do you have? My I've had lots of Easter Eggers in the past, mostly for the novelty of the color. My last group of chickens(who were killed off by a racoon all at once), had one black australorp, 2 barred rocks, and 2 brown leghorns. The brown leghorns were flightly and jumpy, but were decent layers. the barred rocks were pretty funny and had alot of personality, and were good layers, plus I thought they were pretty. The black australorp was a little egg machine, laid an egg every day for 9 months untill she tried to go broody. If I wanted good layers with a calm temperment I would pick black australorps. Great layers(record holder for most eggs laid in a year is a australorp which laid 364 eggs in a year), and will also go broody. You don't see the broodyness is the other high layers like the leghorns.

I could see it being that way, but I would also need to get fertile eggs, which I don't have. Plus I can only have 6 chickens(though I have 7 now), so I wouldn't be able to keep them, only give them away after hatching. Plus our very dry weather here makes incubating difficult.

I hear you on the roomates, I'm always fighting little issue's, I try to not let things bother me, and try to give subtle signs to em to do things different. Some various examples(I don't mean to sound pissy here so forgive me): -Putting a bowl in the sink drain that leads to the garbage disposal. Basically acts like a big plug and fills the sink up with water. -Seriously, you can't close the front door completely? -I am not interested in talking about my day, I am a man, If I've had a $#!&ty day I'll come home and drink a beer, if I've had a good day I'll come home and drink two beers. If I don't respond to the question, "how was your day?" with anything more than "okay" I am not interested in being pestered further, what are you a phucking woman? -Don't phucking b*@$£ when I watch a home improvement show, I don't b*@$£ when you watch "the last airbender" on Nickelodean. -I am a man, I fart. I also like wimmens with big boobs, is that offensive too? -Is it so hard to get out the trash for trash day? Why am I the only one who can do it? Ya I don't remember all the time, which is why I need some gawd-damm help getting it out. I would recommend the next time a pile builds up you go and place them somewhere where she has to deal with them, IE on her bed or something. Kinda drives home the point.

No, got them from a local feed store, which got them as day olds from some hatchery. But I've had them since they were less than a week old. That like a big 12" nail for landscaping, it's an extra thats been outside for a while now. Good placement for the pic though!

Guess I never posted this here, back in oct a 'coon got my chickens, so I got some new chicks, they should start laying anyday now. Well, we got a good amount of snow yesterday, about a foot to 18 inches of the heavy wet snow. Let the chickens out this morning, if it were not for the food they would have not dared to go out into the evil white stuff. Plus some vids:

Nah, they were still in the basement at this point.

Nice work on the TJ tank, I like how that turned out, I had been turning it over and over in my head about what to do, before I just decided to stick with the MJ tank. I might end up throwing the XJ tank where the spare tire was if it will not be a clearance issue. Though for me keeping the MJ tank will work fine since I have a gear driven lift pump in the IP. And if I really need to, like for a more vicious fuel such as SVO, I can install a pretty cheap inline faucet pump as a lift pump. Figuring out the fill and transfer between two tanks......that will be the harder part....might put a filler neck back in the bed by the tail light..... Also for the record, for anyone wanting to swap in a TJ cluster for an XJ, make sure you get an older cluster, all XJs used the CCD bus, while newer TJs use the PCI bus, IIRC the change to PCI bus happened in 2001, but don't quote me on that.

Wanna know what gets me? People at the diesel pump! There is usually one damm diesel pump at the station, which also happens to be the easiest one to get to - for those of us pulling a trailer we don't have to wind all around the station. Well I don't pull a trailer often, but I still can only use that one pump. There are all these empty pumps over there, but no, you had to goto the diesel pump. The other day I was kinda cranky and getting close to loose it on a guy with a prius at the diesel pump. Thankfully a guy pulled away from a different pump before that could happen. Damm inconsiderate gas drivers.

Its possibly that the blinker unit is bad, its not a traditional relay type, it is adaptive and meant to handle different loads. Never noticed that with any of mine though.

Mahindra still owns rights to produce the CJ-2 etc, there are some crazy things going on in india with those things. One place in pakistan even has stamps just to make the willys and Jeep that used to be stamped in SWB jeeps.

Colorado eh? Does it have a shell/topper/cap?
