Looking for a near mint condition gray interior cab back panel (just below the back window). No holes, and minimal broken clips. Looking for gray only. I am located in California, but I don't mind paying shipping fees. Been keeping an eye out in the yards for one without any luck. Let me know what you have and the asking price. Thanks

Was thinking 92 when typing. 9/91 built.

Added another MJ to the stable (currently building my â89 project)âĤa â92 MJ. 4.0L, AX-15, 2wd, SB with factory drop-in bedliner and matching SnugTop camper shell @ 160K. One owner, California vehicle. The owner is/ was a service advisor at the Jeep dealer I bought it from. Included is the original window sticker with an optioned $13K price tag on it. Apparently no real issues with the truck aside from the rear diff shooting a gear through the axle housing back in late '92. Fluke thing, and axle was replace under warranty. Repainted factory silver in '94 and has less than a dozen small dings on it. On the inside, the bench was swapped for Laredo 2-dr buckets and center console. Somewhere down the line, after I get my â89 done this one will get a similar royal treatment.

Thanks for clarifying. That's exactly what I'm looking for. Again, I'd be in for 2 sets.

I'm interested in MJ bucket seat brackets/ tracks that make 95+ XJ seats bolt in. Not clear by this post what you're looking to build for specifically. Should you build what I'm looking for, I'll take 2 sets.

87 SB Blue/ Lt Blue SporTruck 4-cyl 5-spd 4x4 at Fairfield PNP yard. Good taillights. Decent OEM step bumper - slight bend, but easity straightened. Best bumper I've ever seen at the jy. MJ specific All-Star bedliner in really good shape. Bench seat. 89 LB Gray/ gray Pioneer 6-cyl 4x4 at Newark PNP. Good taillights & bed (again LB model). Decent OEM step bumper (not as good as above bumper). Bench seat. Currently sitting in a pool of rain water 5-inches deep.

Far left is for headlight delay/sentinel module...when you turn headlights off this module keeps them on for 30 seconds (or so) Smaller plug in the center is for crusie control servo underhood.

91/92 MJ's were the first to use the ebrake cable tabs on the axles. You won't find it on earlier axles. You probably already have a solution in progress, but as an option the earlier MJ's 86/87 and early 88's had a small hoop that mounts inside the frame rail near the front of the rear leaf. (It mounts in a small slot and bolt hole on the frame). I have these for my truck in addition to the small cable straps you probably have just behind the bed mounted ebrake connector bracket. If you look in your 87-90 parts pdf you will find it on pg 81. It's #21, part# 52003547. There's a couple older MJ's at pick n pull yards locally if you're interested I can grab you some. Not sure how soon, but with in the next week.

Bum the generator and use corded power tools...The cordless will not have enough juice to get it all done.

With the exception of the outer door skin, 97+ doors are quite a bit different inside from the earlier doors. So, the older style interior panels will not work on the 97+ doors...No way. I'm in Gilroy CA about 7+ hours north of San Diego. I did all my cutting and testing on a scrap door, which I no longer have. My truck is currently a rolling chassis without door glass, so even if you were up to the drive there is nothing to see. I don't see myself getting glass in until after the summer. Sorry.

It can be done as I will be doing it. You need to cut out the bracket at the top of the door that supports the vent window; drill out the spot welds that hold the small bracket (remove it) that the original vent window attaches to at the bottom of the inner door (near the speaker). I went so far as to cut up some scrap '01 XJ doors to get the window channel on the front side which is extended on the front side. You will also need to add a small shim in the window channel beside the mirror mount - this will do a couple things: get the window to seal properly and space the outer window trim "inward" enough so the newer mirrors will fit. An alternative is cutting the window trim to get the mirrors to fit as someone did with their MJ. You will need to use a 97+ regulator as well, drilling new holes in your door and adding spacers as needed. Or you can purchase the Beijing XJ 2500 window regulators which are much quicker and lighter that US power window regulators. The Beijing Jeep regulator mounts to the exact holes as the 84-96 XJ/ MJ window regulator and they use a full window on their XJ like our U.S. '97+ XJ's.

Factory tube bumpers were available in the late 80's for the MJ as well. Typically SporTrucks.

88 Eliminator gray color near perfect, complete (only thing missing was rear axle)...bucket seats, 5-spd, factory painted silver front & rear bumpers (88 only year Elim's had silver bumpers). Shouldn't be in junkyard. 88 Pioneer shortbed blue color w/ navy blue interior bench seat. Also really good shape. Aftermarket step bumper. This one had a near NOS (boxed behind the seat) silver/ chrome trimmed taillight that will be going up on ebay soon.

It's good to hear that Custom 4x4 is going to give us another rear bumper option. Know there are 2 other manufacturers that are willing and have produced MJ rear bumpers before. Below are photo's. Tomken first and All J the second set.

Fog Light Question for the older folks
Gjeep replied to glundblad's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Marchal was factory installed '84-'86 XJ/ MJ. '87-'92 saw the ROL's factory installed. ROL's went away with the XJ Laredo & Limited trim in '92. The Mopar accessory light was Marchal through the AMC years and changed once the inventory was depleted in the first couple ChryCo years. Mopar Marchal accessory lights could be had as either fog or driving lights depending on application. Finally, you may want to check with Daniel Stern Lighting if you're getting junkyard Marchal fogs. From what he's told me in the past (4+ years ago) he has a selection of both new and used Marchal parts. Pricey stuff, so I'm not sure how nice you want your lights to be. -
Professional Jeep 2500 parts supplier from China
Gjeep replied to Alex from China's topic in For Sale
To chime in...I'm the first person Don quoted in his warning post. Only thing I'm interested in for my MJ/ XJ's is quality stuff. Even from China. I don't want to deal with the hassles a poor product causes or even worse, non-existant customer service. Just a heads up. -
Thanks for the reply. Scanning the image would be best. Please email me 2 different scans of the label making sure no portion of the image gets cut off. Also, please scan as a "black and white" image if possible. Many thanks. Email to: gjeepm@yahoo.com PS. I'll send you a new label for free if you want once done.

Hi all - I'm looking to reproduce the "JACK INSTRUCTIONS" label that would be on the backwall (interior) of your cab. The only copy I've found posted/ scanned is in rough shape and needs alot of photoshop clean up. Any chance one of yours is in mint condition and you have access to a scanner? Those with the cab backwall carpet would have the easiest time with this; however if someone can take a high-resolution photo of their clean label affixed to the cab backwall this would work too. Let me know what you've got, thanks. If anyone is interested in getting a copy of this label let me know and I'll figure out the cost. Low quantity reproduction labels I have had made in the past cost approx $5-10 per. -G

Hey guys- Went back to the yard today-- the sender/pump assembly had been pulled. As for the instrument cluster, I sent you a couple pm's, but never heard back regarding the price. I confirmed from the yard it would cost $38 for the cluster. Not sure when I'm heading back though.

Sad to say, another (HO) MJ bit the dust...Decent shape too, 133K miles. Let me know if you have specific questions about it. Info: 91 MJ 4.0L 2WD, AW4 (column shift), SB, D35, bench seat (tan color, no rips/ tears), camper shell (too small for MJ)

Thanks guys. As for the graphics...I'm not planning on any. I prefer it without.
