  1. Sadly, there are no real auction sites any longer. eBay went "big box" 10 years ago. LetitGo, FB Marketplace and the like have replaced anything worthwhile.
  2. I'm a dinosaur. I also agree with Pete … Awesome thread.
  3. Not to hijack, but I've been seeing this lately … What's with "Subbed"?
  4. LOL … The price went up to $950!
  5. NOT MINE https://martinsburg.craigslist.org/cto/d/inwood-jeep-pickup/7018792050.html 1988 Jeep Comanche , 6 cyl. 4 speed. 4 wheel drive. 7' bed. I purchased this PU to be used as a "farm vehicle" several years ago. Have used it very few times and kept it in a shed. I put new tires (less than 50 miles), radiator, Fuel pump, etc. Problems now are, needs battery and fix fuel injector leak. No body rust, runs good, does not burn oil.
  6. Worthy.
  7. That red interior appeared here in the classifieds last week. A 2WD, low mileage survivor. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/773291056430946/

I was thinking the same thing. Looks cool, but will it taco?
  9. 4wd / d44 rear / power windows and locks /4.7 stroker / skid plates
  10. Never (in chrome). That's about as good as they come theses days.
  11. Think they'll sell the rear bumper?
  12. Percussive maintenance. Just hit it with something.
  13. Things were going pretty good until I got to that blue and white thing.
  14. Winona, Missouri $350 LOL
  15. I thought they were buzz windows, but if you look closely you can see a window crank.

Wow that was quick! Thanks Eaglescout! I've added a chrome front bumper, grille and headlight doors. Also has a tow package now. Couldn't find a chrome rear bumper, but bought an NOS black one from a CC.com member along with the hitch. Paint color is now 2001 XJ Silver. Matches my daily driver.

1988 PIONEER 4.0 Auto on the column, 4X4, ? Front axle, ? Rear axle, Short Wheelbase Build date: Sticker is there, factory print is illegible Current Location: New Hampshire, but bought it in Tryon, NC Status: Driven nearly daily Notes: Had a bench when I bought it, but now has buckets and center console. Idiot light gauge cluster, aftermarket radio, working AC. Has the XJ Country/Limited interior with wood accents and dash bezel. “Anything that makes this comanche different from the rest”. No rust LOL. Current owner: Me.
  18. Diamond plate door cards and something weird going on with the taillights. https://www.carsforsale.com/vehicle/details/58911765 Carsforsale.com may record phone calls for business purposes; by calling you agree to Carsforsale.com's Terms and Conditions of Use and Privacy Policy.
  19. I get that. Still don't get 2WD Jeep. It's conflicting. What I have noticed is that by and large, the 2WD MJ's and XJ's that remain, seem to be in better condition. My last XJ search for purchase turned up some really nice XJ's in Limited trim that turned out to be 2wd. Disappointing.
  20. Quoting, not taking a shot at GirsMJ86. Interesting how times have changed in such a short time (5 years). I would love to find a rust free truck for a couple hundred bucks. In the past couple of years I've seen dozens of MJ's, not just listed, but selling for $3-5K if they're unmolested, straight and solid. As for a 92 2WD Eliminator? Not too many, but relatively speaking, there aren't too many MJ's left. Personally, I never understood "2WD Jeep".
