got a question. i took out the insulators and put 2 inch coil spacers and 2 inch shock extentions but left the bumpstops alone is that bad or is that ok. i only wanted to lift the front a bit and give it a better stance. i am thinking of putting the insulaters back in to make it sit better.

got a question. sorry to borrow your thread but i have a similer question. would a 90 xj 4.0 auto work in a 83 cj7 also auto.

hi. is there a difference in the crossmembers from a 87 2wd auto to a 90 4x4 auto? wanted to know if will bolt up with out problems or do i need to swap them?

hmmm i very tempted to use that for my floor and the rear cab below the window. before i put the carpet in from my xj. in spring.

Hey everyone. I'm bidding on a 242 transfer case online and it's a 21 spline. In stead of using the 231, what other things I need to change to be able to use it. Can I use all the same linkage and the other pieces. What can I reuse from my 90 xj with a 231? And what parts do I need to get to install it?

You could get black seat covers. That's an idea. That's what I did.

Hey. LOL that's funny. I was amazed when he emailed me back bout the jeep. I jumped on it. I took it home thursday last week. I hope I can fix it for a while till winter is over. Then I'm gonna see who can give a hand stiping it in spring so I can convert my truck to 4x4. I'll need to find a rear drive shaft that will fit so I don't have to get mine cut. It's gonna be fun project! Where in mass are u?

Yea. It was in dartmouth. I thinking of fixing it just use through the winter. Then stripping it.

get a magnaflow cat i got mine off ebay for a good price!!! and its direct fit!! i also put a 3in 2.5in dual out cherry bomb turbo muffler in it!! sounds good!!

The bumpers are ok. They are Crome the front seems alil bent but could be straightened. The rear bumper the left end cap was crushed. Let me know.

Hey. It has manual windows and non power locks. The rear axle I wannt keep in it till I junk the rest I don't have long to keep it at home. Unless u want the rest of it as a rolling chassis just with a 2wd front axle that is going In it so I can roll it around. Let me know. Jeep is at the house. Little stuff I'll take out now but bigger stuff will be in spring.

Hey. It will be home tonight. Let me know if u wanna look at it fri or during the week when I get out. It has reclining bucket seats. It's muroon interior and gray exterior. It just has an over heating prob.

Was thinking on driving it for the winter, but might part it out come springtime. If anyone needs any non-drivetrain parts from it, let me know.

hey. wanted to know if its really worth putting factory ac from one jeep into a non ac jeep? i bought a jeep with ac but wanted to know if its worth putting in and how much of a pain in the rear to put it in? ac is in a 90 xj but want to put it in a 87 mj.

hey pete. I just bout a xj. Just gotta pick it up. But it doesn't have the 242 trans case. I can't seem to find topics to do the 4x4 conversion. I just wanna make sure I do it right. Won't be doing it till spring time. But am gonna sell some stuff from it to put into the conversion. Thanks pete.
