  2. notice the xj half back hatch instead of a tailgate and the 1st gen xj taillights
  3. SW2, yes that is what the problem seems to be I'm running about 2-3" max and it won't work there. that bracket as mentioned above could also be pointing downward and below the trac bar mound therefore being out of the way. But I would have to reposition it when I upgrade the lift to a 6.5 longarm.
  4. there isnt enough side to side movement in the bracket to mount the post on the other side, though i do think it is that way on TJ's. I'm sure that there is a simple way to fix this. maybe ill try posting it on the JF XJ section.
  5. you could screw in a piece of high density polyethylene in there to fill the gap. it would look pretty clean too. ;)
  6. think this would work?
  7. Ive been thinking. I could make a bracket that puts the swaybar mount out farther therefore moving the post out of the way. ill photochop something up.
  8. thats my exact problem
  9. Sorry to ask a question more than once. :dunce:
  10. Away from the tire (inward), the post just replaces the lower trac bar mounting bolt.
  11. I just went to install my swaybar discos today and the driver side one plugged in right away but on the passenger side one there is not enough space between the trac bar mount and the swaybar mount post for the swaybar arm to slide on (hope this makes sense). any suggestions? TIA pics to come...
  12. IDK anything about co2 setups. If i got a motion 10 pound tank, then what else would i need to get it completely setup?

  15. If you need any gear work be sure to go to Terry M. you can find him on the Rock Frogs (87xjco) forum or on JF in the CO jeep club section (87XOTA). Nice find. Looks clean, now we truly can have an all mj run (i think) Still wanna sell me them sliders :brows:

  18. Do you by chance hear a bang or click type noise come out of somewhere up front when u hit a bump. Ive had the same problem and i was able to reduce the intesity of the DW with new Unit Bearings but i still have it. I think that it is my control arms but I'm thinking about upgrading the whole steering setup and new control arms b/c I'm running stock control arms with a 3-4" lift (i was NOT the genious to keep stock control arms with that much lift (PO))
  19. @minibeast. Where did you get that tube mount cb antenna. I just got a hood mount one that i want to stick with for a while but that one may be good if i ever upgrade to a bigger antenna. I see u went with the wp bumper after all. how are you liking it?

  23. I'm going to use some LORD plastic adhesive that i brought home from work and try to hold it in place. it should word, the stuff is used to hold signs on buildings, its extremely strong. If not, ill get a new one (again). I got the others from chrysler parts direct (BTW, they have A LOT of the hard to find MJ parts) for about $10 but if i need a new one again ill go to Brent for sure.
