  1. i believe Resse (IIRC) makes one. id have to check again once i get out to my grandparents house. he has one still in the box and i believe i lined it up and it would work, the ones for the ford escapes. Alex
  2. hey look, they have rear flares!! and floors and almost everything else. none of the cool things like the winch bumper and roll bar bed cover, but a lot of stuff. seems i was on here once before though. who is going to try to order first just to find out they don't actually carry the stuff. or what they do carry looks like crap compared to the real parts. Alex
  3. he speaks the truth. a new short bed for my 91 is $1345.50. but... I'm not payin that when i can get one from someone on here or a JY. just need one without rust holes. Alex
  4. my drivers side has one dent, towards the front of the box that could be popped easily, mind you, I plan on wheeling this thing all summer with the bed on it, so by the time it comes off it might not be in such good shape. Has two quarter sized surface rusts spots. near the back. When I take the bed off I'll let everyone know, I'll have a good tailgate as well. i wonder how hard it would be to make that fit a swb.... lol my 91s bed is shot. like the entire rear end of the bed along the bottom is gone. Alex
  5. it might not be till this summer but i will get some before and after pics during the day and at night. this is just another thing i have on my list of things to do to my 91 this summer. Alex
  6. thats this one. quadratec sells those reflexxion ones. Alex
  7. you'll have that. i do think i looks much better then the fiberglass one though since they don't have the middle indentation on it and the bolt on cowls are stupid. Alex
  8. eh, i had em on hand still from when i took those ones for ya, so i used em. once i do my 91 like that i will get better pics. Alex
  9. anyone have one on here? i am looking for some bigger/better pics then these and i want to know what you think. http://gojeep.willyshotrod.com/HowtoBonnet.htm http://www.quadratec.com/products/55023_003_T.htm thanks, Alex
  10. i would think not since the doors are bigger. but i have never worked on those that often. so Pete, Eagle, somebody correct me if i'm wrong. Alex
  11. not a problem. thats why we are all here. its up now if ya want to go take a look. Alex
  12. ok a ton of members have been asking about the metal bars that went behind the flares and held onto the bolts. well on all 3 MJs i have done they were so rusted up that they bent like pieces of taffy. so i set out to fix this problem once and for all on my second MJ. here is what i did. i went to lowes and got some SS (stainless steel) bolts, fender washers, and nylon lock nuts. i got rid of the metal bars and the inner fenders for the rear flares, i no longer saw a point in keeping mud and stuff out of there since SS isn't going to rust up. i also cut that part off of the front inner fenders, just the part that covers the gap between the body and the flare. just cut along the line right below all the holes that the bolts would go through. this is how it turns out, these are older pics and since these i have replaced anything not SS with SS and put the trimmed inner front flares in. any questions just ask. i will be doing this yet again this summer on my new 91. Alex
  13. retainers? do you mean those stupid metal strips that use to be behind the stupid rubber "inner fender" on these things? i have said it a thousand times. those things are not needed and most are going to be so rusted that they would be hard to replace. go have a look in my 91 eliminator 4x4 project topic here in about 10 mins. i am going to post up some pics and info on a much better way to put all the flares back on these things. Alex
  14. did you contact them about pics? Alex
  15. well JP Mag actually came in handy for once. i have been wanting to put LEDs in all my exterior lights and i think i finally found a place with the best selection and everything. LEDs are not cheap and i think i figured the total for all outside lights to be around 206 (not including plate lights). but i'm sick of replacing bulbs after every time i beat the daylights out of my jeep when i'm running off-road. and LEDs are brighter, so i think i found my b-day gift to myself since i already got my optima yellow top as an early gift. so here they are, all the exterior and most interior lights for an MJ. not too sure if the front side turns would fit in the hole in the lenses or not though. tail lights, back-ups, front turns front side turns interior and plates Alex
  16. we just built one like that not long ago. but its full of tractors so not much room to work on stuff, during winter anyways. plus its unheated also. i think 180 x 60, but i don't remember anymore. Alex
  17. you just had to through the factory rear bumper at me didn't ya.... well at least its not chrome like the factory rear one i'm getting, so i still got you beat there. :chillin: Alex
  18. i loved em on my 86, the stupid bar wasnt in the way plus with them being bigger it was easier to see stuff. i was going to put some on my 91 but decided to switch to newer doors since they are messed up anyways. Alex
  19. yes, and a lot better to see with too. Alex
  20. Just a cab. No engine(was a 350 he said), no tranny , or xfer case. and he wants 200 for that?! man if i was closer id offer him 100 and then have me some better panels for my MJ. and i bet Eagle hasn't said anything yet because hes still recovering from his heart attack when he opened this up. it is hard to look at but I'm also in awe of how rust free it is. you decide if ur gonna buy it yet? lol. Alex
  21. is it just a cab or does it have an engine and everything still in it? Alex
  22. heck id take it.... for 100. i could use that cab as parts for my crappy 91 cab. nice color though. but y cut the frame for the trailer rather then just using the bed? weird is right. Alex
  23. well let me see, on regular i get about 200 - 210. and the engine hates regular. so i tend to stay away from that. i go with premium and i get great mileage, think what you want. but i know it was close to 400. i also always use boost and cleaner at each fill. Alex
  24. this style is from an older waggy xj. like early to mid 80s. i trimmed it off right behind the last storage compartment because i wanted to have some headliner behind it. but you could take it off right before the back set of lights and make it go all the way to the back of the cab. i should have my liner up this summer, and this time i will take pics along the way since so many of use are without liners and the way i did my other two trucks (both of em black), it keeps them cooler then a silver car in the summer sun. and no jeepers are never done. Alex
