Did you build the brackets for the light bar custom? Or get them somewhere?

I would recommend looking into the Superlift and the AEV EGR module that fixes the computer. They are pricey, but very nice. Also, check out the Bilstien struts. They just came out with a 5100 model that levels out the front very well. You can change the location of the coil bucket by moving a retaining clip. Jeepforum.com has a ton of info on these jeeps. And I think there is a company called Saguaro4xComponents, might have been been bought out by 4xGuard. They make a hidden winch mount that is very cool. Also, check out Omelets build thread over there. He's done a lot of cool stuff that could give you some inspiration. My build threads called Project Tyro-WK Build.

Just sold my 06 w/ the 5.7 Hemi. I had a 4" superlift and 33s on it with 4xGuard armor head to toe. Miss it already.

Yeah...macho_burrito definetly describes the guy haha. Nice guy tho, gave me a hell of a deal. I ended up paying something like $225 for it. This comanche is pretty much gold up here for the amount of rust as well.

You know, now that I think about it, he did have a cleaner comanche in the back that he said he picked up and that's why he was selling this one. I'll tell ya though, this is pretty darn clean for where I come from. I'm doing an interior cage and some different floors/rockrails anyways so it all was going to come out anyways. Rest of the truck is in great shape.

Yeah it kind of just worked out perfectly. I have a beat up cherokee with a nice 3-link suspension and most of the stuff will bolt on. All I wanted was a shell. I ended up calling the guy during my physics class in the lecture hall and went down the next morning.

2wd Short Bed As it sits now... I bought it for scrap price, stripped to the shell from Rochester, MN. Getting a 97+ swap, 4x4, and 36s eventually. Has this comanche been seen by anyone before??? Just kind of want to know the history on it.

Rymanrph, this build is amazing. I am planning on starting to do something similar to what you have done and just flipping through looking at pictures has really inspired me. I will definitely be following this build closely now.

Thank you thank you Alexia! I wonder why it was banned. Was there a note there? I am the PR for the Tech Four Wheelers club and I think the last comanche in the club sold around that time. A couple alumni in our club have been known to be dicks on other forums. GreatLakes4x4 had this thing set up on thiers where if you posted a link on our forum going to thiers, a pop up would appear of peter griffin singing the bird is the word. Of course, when you closed it, a new one would appear.
