  1. For once, LOL, I agree with JT. Hondas are just hard to beat on overall value. But I also agree with the post about the Jetta Diesel. You'll pay more to get one, but with the fuel savings and long term life of the engine, you'll get what you're paying for. VW makes a great diesel. Now, not knowing your mechanical abilities, I doubt it's something easy for the average driveway mechanic to do repairs on. But, since you mentioned wanting a little cool factor to it, the reason I agreed with the other post is you can put some nice 17s on it, make a trunk lip spoiler etc. and look pretty good IMO. Another car that may fit the bill IMO and looks good with a simple wheel/tire upgrade is the 4cyl Altima. Nice wedge-like shape and good MPG, pretty reliable. Just my nickels worth, I always give more than 2 cents. :brows:
  2. See thats what I'm looking for.. I guess it off to the junk yard!!! :clapping: Like I even need a reason... :shake: just ran that part # at wholesalemopar.com, they have them for $17.55 if you want new........
  3. Yes..............yes I did. :chillin: 31x10-fitty BFG A/Ts on 'em. Got a great deal on both the Ravines and BFGs, a used set, @60%+ tread. Never had any, always wanted them. When I went back to the tire shop to pick the truck up, they hadn't told me 1 of them was a blackwall and so they mounted 'em all that way. Finally found a good whitewall and flipped them over, I'll keep the blackwall as my spare. I really like them but like I said in my classified, those B-stone Revos on my Canyons are VERY impressive. Too bad the BFGs will probably rot before I burn them up, I'll probably only put about 3-5k per year on them.
  4. I went to Advanced and spent about 30 mins looking up different fuses and such... Nothing in the fuse sections at NAPA, and sometimes I just hate dealing with those old "know it alls" behind the counter who put all their faith in what that green screen tells them.... Auto zone... lol.. I bet Rock has one but I have no clue where to find it in their database. That's what 800 #s are for............ :fool:
  5. Yeah well, those Canadian Hemlocks got caught in a Comanche Headlock........and lost!
  6. roads closed, find another way home? Huh?? :help:
  7. I should have clarified I wasn't sure if that was the right term. Pete you said it doesn't work but I see video clips within a thread all the time here? :dunno: Are they ALL not from YouTube but from some other type of format? This is where my computer skillz just get overwhelmed. :wall:
  8. Got my first ones today, thanks Pete!!!
  9. LOL, I thought that too when I saw it but I'm pretty sure he's just holding his arms out for his sister. Oh, and they think the sliding rear window is the coolest thing since peanut butter.
  10. JT Money, what did the auto parts stores say? I.E. "can't get it", "no longer made"??? You can't tell me that's not available and you also can't tell me that part is not interchangeable with 20 other wiper circuit breakers. Now, just to be sure, did you tell them to look it up as a Cherokee part after it didn't pull up as an MJ part? Just reaching for solutions here. :dunno:
  11. How do you embed a video from YouTube or similar on here? :dunno: :wall:
  12. I figured if I broke it, I always have a leaky, poorly running MJ to use as my DD until I can get it fixed... Can I get a HELL YEAH! from the crowd??
  13. Yeah, just having fun with ya Wade! I figured if you had any pics of the manned space flight you would have posted those as the "before" shot. :brows: You got nads jumping a TJ, especially at 50! Not exactly a balanced vehicle for flight LOL.
  14. Is she hot or are you just scared? :brows:
  15. Burrito? You mean no more vegetarian pizza? "Rabbit Food Pie's, get your Rabbit Food Pie's here!!" ;)
  16. I'm gonna burlap it and ship it with your wheel so you can replant it.............Tree Huggin Wuss!
  17. Make up your damn mind already, I'm not holding this thing just for you ya know.
  18. Oh, now we see how it is Don. First you want to be a :smart: then you  and jump on the :rotfl2:
  19. The PO of my house had these scraggly Xmas tree looking specimens bookending the front of my house. I've been planning on taking them out for 3yrs. Got 'er done today! :brows:
  20. PM sent Pizzaboy!
  21. i'll go outside and take a pic right now of it. it's not cleaned up, but i guess you'll know if it's what you need. do you need a tire with it?
  22. Just got mine back on the road from the same thing myself. One Saturday put about 90 miles on it, lots of stop and go, probably started it 10 times that day with no problems. Next morning, ........nothing. Plenty of juice on battery, banged on starter, jiggled gear selector in case it was neutral safety switch, ..........nothing. Try this with a friend; when you turn the key if the lights dim it's almost definitely the starter. If your headlights don't dim at all, something else is killing the juice before it gets to the starter.
  23. but you add coolness to it Chico :brows: and yours was ORANGE, not half orange half yellow all nasty. hey, you don't need a matching spare do you? i've got one if you need.
