I clicked the wrong quote button. I meant about meeting at your place. If he's coming down there to get parts I could drop this toolbox off.
  3. aaron, take a measurement of your gas tank. I've got the larger tank and it measures a rough 32" in my LWB. I'm positive it's a 23 gallon tank, cause it just took 20 this morning to fill it from the low fuel light. It also mounts with the 3 straps.
  4. 4" and you'll fit 37s. I wonder how many mall crawlers we'll see with 37's and stock d30's?

ok i found a sticker. it is a Delta Champion single lid and it was bought back in 94. the only thing we have done to it is replace the pistons about 1yr ago. the rest of the box works and looks great. just need to get one MJ size which you can look up on their site or use some of the sizes posted on here and just go to lowes and take your tape with ya. Alex that could be done.

call it $25 if you come and get it. Maybe free if you got any random spare parts. I'm in AShland, it's where 250 meets 71. About 2 hours from toledo. We could make arrangments to meet up near toledo. I got some friends up there I been meaning to visit anyway.

I have two, you can come and get one. Ones a plastic delta, I don't have a key for that one. The nicer one is metal, but it needs the spot welds on the hinges repaired with some pop rivets. I have the key for that one. metal one plastic one.
  8. could also be that the rubber hose in the tank has deteriorated, and turning let's the pump suck air.
  9. try here: http://www.raidentech.com/nitrogastrucks.html they buy direct from the chinese manufacturers. Cheap. And most of it's the same stuff you'd find at horizon or tower.
  10. I wheeled with my stock cooling system in Uwharrie, it sucked. Ambient temps awere 100*. I popped the coolant bottle in the same place. Trail fixed it, then went and got a hayden 10" fan, it fit well, and wafter it was installed at camp I wheeled for 3 more days on it. I honestly think the closed system does a better job of cooling, it just requires some more maintenance for that plastic bottle
  11. there was someone that had a 401 in an MJ, it was tubbed, I believe he also had plans to turbo it. DOn't know what ever happened to it, and I can't find it.
  12. well, since it's in PHP just whack the database and restore it with the latest backup. Might lose a few posts, $#!& happens. Was your PHP install patched up Pete? This really seems like it was just some kiddy running a script and happened to find a vulnerable install. Look how many times it's happened to Billy at XJDB.
  13. I didn't know that $25 of the $40 went to UFWDA. That's really kewl. 8) Naxja just sent something ridiculous to UFWDA, Like $9K IIRC, That is what NAXJA will be handing over every year because of the new membership rates at UFWDA. Screw you, and your little dog too. No reason to bring the dog into this. Rocky loves everyone. Me on the other hand, I don't like anybody, least of all you ;)
  14. let me know what parts you need. Modems aren't that expensive. Unless it damaged the mainboard it's worth repairing.

  16. STFU!
  17. I just look at it as I have saved hundreds (maybe thousands) of dollars because of NAXJA, so paying a little to keep the site running is just a thank-you. Also, included in membership is UFWDA membership ($25 value) which helps keep trails open and fight for land-use issues. Same here, I lurked and fixed my junk, after they helped me get through my fuel pump electrical mess I joined. Honestly I stay out of the majority of the forums anymore and post mostly in the chapter forum, cause I know those guys, and we can bust balls on a friendly level :)
  18. good luck with that, they fetch quite a premium. I could go and buy a 4WD AX-15 with BH for $300, but if I want the later model external slave one the price goes to $500.
  19. short of looking in the diff there's no good way when you're looking to buy. Go and dump the clutch on some gravel. I'd be willing to bet a 2wd MJ will go farther in the snow than a "4"WD compass :)
  20. I'm gonna take a WAG at it and guess trans solenoids.
  21. Mine is removed, and I'm still using the stock MJ prop valve. WHen my rear brakes failed I still had front brakes, the pedal travel was just messed up. It doesn't lock the rear end often, but in wet conditions it can be a problem, and only under real heavy braking. it'[s just like any other pickup I've ever driven for that matter.
  22. diesels respond to more fuel because of the basic engine design. The throttle on a diesel doesn't restrict air, it restrcts fuel, more fuel=more power in a diesel, until the combustion chamber pressures pop the block, or the EGT temps get high enough to toast the turbo. 512tr: Had you tried an adjustable MAP sensor when you did the AFR readings? Using the larger injectors and then "throttleing" them back with a lower MAP reading might have been the ticket to making those work. Of course at WOT the ECU would still open them wide, so WOT you would have been rich.
  23. I just set the jack right next to the housing on the passenger side, it balances just fine there. Jack it up, put stands under each side. Always use a block of wood so the jack doesn't slip.
  24. that looks like a heim joint.
  25. it's a shame they don't offer a bellhousing adapter for the AW4 due to it's "complex" controlling. You should call them, tell them you've got a manually controlled one and that lots of people do, see if they'll put the effort into making one. I think that the AW4 could hold up to a mildly built 350. The other option would be to find an AMC small block, they share a bellhousing pattern with the 258 and 242 :) Then you get to keep the current drivetrain, just beef the T-case with chevy parts.
