Ive heard that if you get the CPS with the Altitude, that it will give a little more pep to the engine, is that true?
-
When I was stranded up in Kansas City with a bad CPS, I went to Carquest and they charged me $50. Have not had a problem since then.
-
Which states/countries have you visited in your MJ?

While iv'e owned it, Just Missouri and Kansas. But mine when built started out in Utah, went to Texas and then came to MO were I bought it. Longest Trip, Strafford MO-Clinton MO=99 miles. -
For that price, more problems then what you listed. Prolly a good parts rig.

Checked the oil, as always low, filled it up. Took FL tire to town, got it patched. And wiped the VC down. I think the engine looks BA with the VC always clean

Really?? A new alt here is a $100! :smart: Sorry Dave I couldn't resist :rotfl2:

never mind the fact that he has a Diesel and a $#!& ton more horse power. No i tried to get to see it, he's the one that wanted to race, so why not? try reading it again, I said BRAND NEW Ford. they don't put the 7.3Lin BRAND NEW Fords. :fool: (wish they still did though)

I was sitting at a stop light saturday night and had a brand new 4 door powerstroke sitting on my left side. While we were sitting there a wreak took place but I couldn't see it cause the powerstroke was in my way, so the light turned green and I gave the ol mj some gas to get ahead of the powerstroke so i could see the wreak. The next thing I heard was the turbo kick in on the Ford and him downshift, so steped into the the gas a little more untill I had it floored, and so did he, we ran neck to neck for a bit then I started pulling away from the Ford untill I was a car length away before the Ford guy ever let up. we were running 65 by this time. Even with the crappy combo of Auto/3.55/and 31" tires,it still put a big smile on my face when I out ran the Brand new Ford :D

sounds very possible, have you looked at the joints yet? if the u-joint were already going bad the lift did not help them. oh and of course, :needpics:

Gave it a really good bath. for the last 4 months our roads have not been gravel roads but mud roads. :fs1: id almost forgot what color my truck was. :( also found out my aux. fan is just about ready to give up the ghost. :grrrr:

Let me get this straight..... They will not pass that vehicle inspection because it does not have the original motor sitting in the engine bay? :huh???: I have never heard of this, Man there are some stupid law makers out there.

Welcome to the Club. Looks like you already got the Jeep bug. Now that you have a manche, it will only get worse.

Damn Kelly, Glad to hear your ok and good thing you didn't tear up the stang to much. Geeze man, first time out you need to take it easy. don't tear everything up at once. :rotf:

I voted for the Lincoln, only because that is what ive run the most, i have run a couple Hobart's, nothing wrong with them, i just like the Lincoln look better :chillin: but CW is right, hobarts are cheaper, so unless you have deep pockets, hobart would be the way to go. Mig welders are so nice to have. the other day i built a muffler for John Deere Dozer using the mig, it came out beautiful. Including the torch gas used and wire and gas used in the welder I built the muffler for $30 with scrap metal, new muffler from John Deere-$260 :hmm: And mine looked better than the one from JD. Lying, cheating bastards.

What if you could build a brand new Jeep Comanche?

That's all i want 8) -
Here's a couple pictures of mine hauling some wire to the junk yard. It is the 4.0, but it has the auto and 3.55 gears :fs1: The trailer it self weighs 2400 lbs, and that particular load there is 1760 lbs of wire, so total i was pulling 4160 lbs. I could tell there was some thing back there, but overall I was very impressed on how my MJ did, accelerating and stopping. And I 2nd on if there is going to be the word "topless" in the topic..... :brows:

Lucky Bastard..... Good score :clapping:

Season opened up here this last Monday, 4-19, and today was the first day I was able to go. Got up at 5am, left the house at 6am, was back with my bird at 7am. Walked out there, heard him gobble, set 2 decoys about 100yds away, stood by a tree, watched him fly out of the roost, walked right up to me, shot him, grabbed the decoys, and walked back home. Sounded real easy right? But it was pouring down rain and still is so kinda made for a crappy hunt, but i still got one. It was just a little Jake, but it makes for some real good eating :D Sorry no pictures, as i said it was pouring down rain, didn't want to get the camera wet. Any other turkey hunters here???
