  1. Ive seen them a million times they have a rubber tube, lil colored balls that float to tell you the condition of your batteries, and a turkey bolster looking bulb that you use to suck the battery juice with.
  2. lol... Well I have a interstate thats not sealed in my Isuzu and the batt in question is a dirt bike batt..
  3. CW you have any pic of this c housing ? I'm not sure about mazda but on a honda its easier to pop the bottom a-arm, and pry the axle away from the trans. Honda uses a c clip that dosent have to be removed.. I'm just having a hard time visualizing your set-up...
  4. Anyone ever replaced acid in a battery? Like pour the old out and refill it with new acid? I think you have to mix the acid with distilled water but I don't know a certain ratio... Another thing, has anyone ever used a specific gravity tester?
  5. I've put a floor jack under doors before to line them up. It works pretty good.. Just put the jack in the bottom side and jack it up a inch let it down test the fit, then 2" so on,, so on...
  6. Sweet comanche at 1:42 Nice vid
  7. I've been poked so many d@nm times with that wire is isnt funny... One thing that I hated about it was other then being upside down in a tank trying to thread it through a bolt head was I'd always,,never failed,, after making a run of tree or more I'd over twist and the wire would break.... Lot of cussing went into those d@mn 1/2 time locking pliers you had to use too.. After I had a little time in,, I made the lower enlisted do that crap..... Gotta love fresh meat.. But yeah they are a smart way to keep the bolts from working out.. won't keep them 100% tight, but you won't lose any either..
  8. did you check the actual ground at the horn? Like in the front bumper,, the part that makes the sound. I know the horn itself has to be grounded to work.. could be lose and rusty..
  9. I would think it grounds through the steering box, shaft.. Weird... I had to remove my horn button, then the three screws that hold the ring on and took a wire wheel to it.
  10. take your horn button off and sand it..
  11. Hold up man........ wheres my prize fool.... you know that would almost work if the original post didnt say "Last edited by jtdesigns on Thu Jun 05, 2008 8:18 pm; edited 1 time in total" nice try though  :D  :D
  12. Hold up man........ wheres my prize fool....
  13. 147 more to go..... It looks like I over shot it a lil bit... oh yeah make that 146... didnt count this post! :D
  14. The new rad I just bought here: http://www.alumrad.com/dblpass.html had a plugged off bung hole where I drew the red circle: Unfortunately it's installed and can't get a pic. Whats their price for that cooling soda can??
  15. Thats a pretty cool truck for 87....
  16. thats how it was fer me when i lived in mooresville , i found a ramcharger there with some parts i needed (which is like finding a comanche in the j-yard here) talked to the guy and came to an agreement on the price but didnt have the money so i came back the next week and he wanted more than double and i told him that we already came to an agreement and he said "o ya iz pertie hamerd dat day but alrite" then we hung out and drank beer fer the rest of the day , i helped him with his car and it was all good after that  it sure is funny how different it is from coast to coast lmao,,,, yelp that about sums it up,,,lol
  17. I though you had to do a run out test with a dial indicator.. And the FSM should tell you the limits.. If I had one I'd look it up for ya.. (clears throat.. for someone who has one)
  18. you would get reamed for that at a yard down here if they caught you. I pulled a dash harness a few weeks back and the girl at the counter started counting the relays and fuses to charge me. If it wasn't such a PITA to pull it, i would have left it right there at the counter and walked away. That sucks... These guys don't really give a flip what you get,,, Its all according to what kinda mood the guys in really.. I've paid alot for something then d@mn near nothing for the about the same another day,,, but the good thing is the guy sees my face alot and is starting to recognize me, so the more I shot the poop the better the prices get... I think I'll take a small cooler full of beverages next time I go,, but I'd hate for them to expect it every time they see me walk in......
  19. wow yahoo is number 1
  20. nah I do it too.. I have a thing for fuses... I always come out the yard with a pocket full... My honey hole is a scrap metal yard that keeps all the cars/trucks in a separate yard and sell a few things then crushes them.. I love it the price of scrap is up,, everybody is throwing these trucks and cars away, and I'm there like Johnny Bench waiting to catch all the bounty!!!!!
  21. Fix it, lift it, be just like me :D Like you always dreamed ;) :rotfl2: lol... I still have my mj up on blocks man!! I may keep it and sell my rodeo though!! Not sure....
  22. Its a good price.. 96 classic 4wd a few dents, needs paint, 4.0, auto, full power, 190k. tranny makes noise in park, idle is screwy... Going to clean it up, fix a few pings and dents, all the bumper end caps, throw about 300 bucks of paint on it, and either keep it and sell my rodeo or sell it...
